Air and Oil FiltrationEa synthetic technology reduces engine wear by providing ultra-higltering efciency for automotive/light-truck applications.

Engine Protection

Filters that trap a higher percentage of smaller wear particles provide increased engin

protection. AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters trap and hold 98.7 percent of particles 20 micronsand larger, while competitive lters demonstrate efciencies as low as 51 percent.

AMSOIL by-pass ltration systems employ a secondary by-pass lter rated 98.7

percent efcient at two microns, nearly eliminating wear-causing particles.

AMSOIL Ea Air Filters synthetic media traps and holds ve times more dust than

cellulose media alone and 50 times more than wet-gauze type media, helping stopdirt before it reaches the engine.

Extended Service

Used with AMSOIL synthetic motor oils, Ea Oil Filters have a maximum recommend

ed service life of either 15,000 miles or 25,000 miles, depending on the application.

Ea Air Filters provide 100,000 miles/four years of service with annual cleaning usinga shop vacuum or compressed air. AMSOIL extended-service lters save motoriststime and money.

Drivetrain FluidsPremium synthetic drivetrain lubricants reduce wear, extend service

life and maximize fuel economy.

Synthetic Transmission Fluids

AMSOIL synthetic transmission uids withstand the rigors of high-horsepower/hightorque diesels better than conventional uids. They maintain viscosity for reduced

gear and bearing wear and increased equipment life. Their synthetic formulationsresist oxidation, varnish formation and sludge build-up to provide superior cooling

and lubrication.

Synthetic Gear Lubes

AMSOIL synthetic gear lubes protect heavily loadeddifferentials better than conventional lubes. Extreme-

pressure formulations guard against metal-to-metalcontact for maximum wear control. Their synthetic

efciency while providing extended drain intervals.

Synthetic Greases

AMSOIL synthetic greases are designed to resist friction and wear better than

Restored Horsepower and Fuel Economy

By cleaning dirty injectors, AMSOIL Diesel

Concentrate helps ensure an even spray pattern

for improved fuel economy up to 5 percent, astested with the Cummins L10 Injector DepositTest. Regular use enhances engine performance

by keeping injectors clean, resulting in better fuel

economy and restored horsepower.

Maximum Shear Stability

The severe environments found in-side diesel engines can tear apart,

or shear, the molecular structure ofoil, leading to viscosity loss. Mak-

ing matters worse, moderate levelsof fuel dilution common in some

applications impair an oils ability

to resist shear. Four percent fueldilution is often enough to reduce an oils

sheared viscosity to less than its speciedviscosity grade, leading to metal-to-metal

contact and accelerated equipment wear.

AMSOIL doubled the standard Kurt Orbahn90-cycle test (ASTM D 6278) used to test

shear stability and continued the testing to180 cycles. Samples were then contami-

nated with 2 and 4 percent ultra-low-sulfurdiesel fuel (ULSD). Even at 4 percent fueldilution, AMSOIL Premium Synthetic Diesel

Oil stayed in grade to maintain engine pro-tection while the other oils failed.
