Cleanroomsaredefinedspaces inwhichtheconcentrationofairborneparticles iscontrolledtomeetspecificcleanlinessclasses.This isnormallyhandledthroughpositiveairpressureventilation.ThusspecializedcleanroomfittingsandluminairesarerequiredtoensurenoimpuritiescouldenterthelaboratoriesandmanufacturingareasandcontaminatevariousproductssuchasLCDpanels,medicines,andsemiconductors.

AMKO’sSOLARAinductionlampsareproposedwithourcleanroomfixturesforenergysavingandlowmaintenancepurposes.Inductionlamp,withitslonglifespanupto60,000hoursandexcellentlumenmaintenance,reducesproductiondowntimeswhichwerescheduledtwiceayearforafullreplacementofthelesserlifespanT8fluorescentlamps.

Basedonsimplecalculation,approx.16%energywassavedinthisnewlightingsystem:

ConnectedloadforT8 = 58W/fittingx200pcs=11,600watts ConnectedloadforSOLARA = 100W/fittingx100pcs=10,000watts

Energy saving = 1,600 watts (16%)Lamp replacement downtime = 10 → 1 (reduced to just one major retrofitting required every 5 years)

Withtheoptionaldimmablefeature,wecanrealizeanother50%inenergyconsumptionwhenthelightoutputisloweredduringnon-productionhoursorwhenthefacilitytakesadvantageofsunlight.

Thedesignoftheluminairestakesintoconsiderationilluminationperformanceofthefixture,aswellasthefixture’seffectivenessinpromotingairflowoutwardsinthepressurizedcleanroom.OftenthemajorculpritsinallowingoutsideairintothecleanroomarethelightingfixturesandtheHEPAfil-ters.Ourspecializedfixturesaredesignedwithfeaturessuchasanti-static,ultra-violetprotected,streamlineexteriors,structuralrigidityandquality,componentfitandseamlessness,andeaseofinstallation.

Ourrecessedfixturesincorporatealiftbackthatopensupwardforeasiermaintenanceincleanrooms.PairedwithSOLARAInductionLightingSystems,itcomeswithseveraldimming/controllingoptionsandfeaturesalifespanof60,000hours.

Installation Tips

Wheninstallingthelampunit,pleasechecktomakesurethatthebentmercuryreservoirisnotpointingupwards.Themaximumallowanceforanangledinstal-lationis45degrees.Donotexposethelamptotemperaturesgreaterthan110°C(230°F)andtheelectromagnets(transformers)togreaterthan120°C(248°F).Lampstobeinstalledintemperatureslessthan-20°C(-4°F)requiresspecialcustomizationtotheunitfromthemanufacturer,andshouldbespecifiedbeforeordering/purchasingtheunit.Handlethelampswithcare-theglassisfragile.Useglovesifnecessary.

Wheninstallingtheelectronicballast,pleaseensurethattheplacementoftheballastwillnotexposetheballasttotemperaturesgreaterthan65°C(150°F)oritwilldegradetheservicelifespanoftheunit.Theballastisdesignedtoaccommodate±10%ofvoltageirregularity.

Onlyqualifiedpersonnelinyourcountry(certifiedelectrician)mayinstallorrepairthisproduct.IfyouareinstallingtheunittoafixturethatisnotprovidedbyAMKO,pleaseconsultwithourtechnicalpersonnelforinstallationadviceandsuggestions.
