DAY TWO – Pipe Spring National Monument and the North RimHeading into Arizona, we’ll visit the Old Mormon Fort at PipeSpring National Monument, then continue on to the North Rimof magnificent Grand Canyon National Park, where we’ll spendthe next two nights just steps away from one of the world’s greatspectacles. DAY FIVE – Monument Valley Jeep Tour This morning we’ll visit Navajo National Monument to view theBetatakin Ruin. Later we continue on to incredible MonumentValley Navajo Tribal Park, where numerous Western movies, tel-evision shows and commercials have been filmed. A traditionalNavajo lunch and Navajo-guided, four-wheel drive tour are in-cluded in our visit. DAY SIX – Natural Bridges and Capitol Reef National ParkAfter a visit to the Puebloan ruins at Edge of the Cedars StatePark, next comes sightseeing and a picnic lunch at NaturalBridges National Monument, home to three mighty stonebridges, viewable from convenient overlooks. An afternoon sce-nic drive brings us to impressive Capitol Reef National Park,where white sandstone “domes” cap massive reef-like cliffs.We’ll spend the night in Torrey. (Breakfast and lunch)

DAY SEVEN – Escalante-Grand Staircaseand Bryce Canyon National ParkA memorable day begins on Utah’s incredible Highway 12 Sce-nic Byway, winding through spectacular Escalante-Grand Stair-case National Monument. Reaching the famed “Pink Cliffs” ofBryce Canyon National Park, we’ll follow the Rim Drive to view

vividly-colored, fantastic rock forms approximating castles, tem-ples, even whole cities sculptured in stone! Later we’ll motorthrough the slickrock canyons and historic tunnel of Zion Na-tional Park, and soon check in for two nights in Springdale.(Breakfast)

DAY EIGHT – Zion National ParkToday features awe-inspiring Zion National Park, where the Vir-gin River has cut a dramatic rugged gorge through multi-huedsandstone, shale and limestone. We’ll look up at the toweringrock walls surrounding us on all sides as we tour this incrediblenatural wonder aboard open-air sightseeing trams, plus enjoytime for exploring on our own or shopping in picturesqueSpringdale. DAY NINE – Homeward BoundThis morning we’ll leave Utah and travel through the VirginRiver Gorge en route to Las Vegas McCarran International Air-port for flights home departing after 1:00 p.m. (Breakfast)
