mAson firsT visiTed docBrAces AT Age 7, and returned as recommended when he was 13. At that time, he was suffering from irregular spacing of his teeth, narrow upper and lower jaws, and an overbite. He required surgery to expose hidden teeth and required a palatal expander to eventually fit his braces.

It was first estimated by the Docbraces team that Mason’s treatment would likely last up to three years, but Mason thought otherwise and was able to achieve excellent results in just two and a half years.

eric firsT visiTed us AT Age 7 for An orThodonTic consulTATion—just like Canadian Association of Orthodontists recommends for all children that age. We discovered that he had a narrow jaw and overbite, likely caused by his prolonged thumb sucking. In order to ensure his teeth grew into a correct position, Docbraces recommended that Eric wear elastics for two years starting from age 10 and then have his braces fitted at age 12.
