LIPOSUCTION

5 Questions To Determine The Type And Extent of Liposculpture That You Will Need

#1 – Do You Need Only Your Deep Pockets of

Fat Removed?

• Deep pockets of fat are "scattered" around the body, meaning they are in some areas of the body and not in others.

• Many areas of the body have very minimal or no deep fat at all.

• Until recently, most liposuction techniques targeted only these deep fat pockets.

• This limited the extent to which a liposculpting surgeon could change the shape or size over any given body part.

• A majority of the liposuction being done today is this type of liposuction.

#2 – Do You Need Both Deep Fat Pocket and

Superficial Fat Layer Removed?

• Unlike deep fat pockets, the superficial fat layer is both continuous and

located "everywhere" in the body.

• Until recently, Liposculpting surgeons were unable to remove fat from this

superficial layer without significant risk of bumps, lumps, irregularities,

and or damage to the skin.

• The development of advanced Liposculpting technologies, such as the

VASER and Smartlipo, allowed surgeons to now Liposculpt both the deep

fat pockets and the superficial fatty layer safely and effectively.

• The ability to safely work in the superficial fatty layer, along with the deep

fat pockets, gives Liposculpting surgeons the ability to take out "more" fat

per body area, giving patients are greater change in size.

#3 – Do You Need Skin Tightening As Part Of

Your Liposculpture Procedure?

• Before the development of the VASER or Smartlipo, it was very

unsafe to attempt skin tightening with liposuction.

• To accomplish skin tightening with liposculpture you have to remove

the fat immediately underneath the skin.

• This removal allows the skin to significantly contract over it's smaller

liposculpted area.

• The surgeon is essentially liposculpting two separate layers of fat

over the same body area.

#4 – Do You Want VASER Hi Def Liposculpture

As Part Of Your Sculpting Procedure?

• VASER Hi Def liposculpture combines the removal of deep fat

pockets, skin tightening and the removal and shaping of the

superficial fatty layer over your own muscles producing a natural

appearing muscular shape.

• Essentially your own muscular shape is enhanced and more defined

after completion of the VASER Hi Def or high definition Liposculpture

procedure.

• This, like any other liposuction or liposculpting procedure can be

accomplished on virtually any body area.

#5 – Do You Need Fat Grafting As Part Of Your

Liposculpting Procedure?

• Dr. Millard recognized that he could achieve an even greater control of shape, beauty, and youthfulness in his patients by being able to not only remove fat where needed, but add fat to almost any muscle area in the body, often in the smallest amounts, to achieve even greater results for his patients.

• Dr. Millard uses special lighting techniques (Dynamic Human Lighting) that he developed, to capture the subtle shapes muscles cause on the surfaces of our bodies, capturing the dynamic shape of each muscle as it goes through its movement, in his patients results.

• In larger amounts, Dr. Millard has combined fat grafting with liposculpting reshaping in both the female and male chest and buttocks areas.

Dr. John Millard

Dr. Millard was one of the pioneers of the 4D VASER

procedure and the surgeon who brought this technique to

the United States almost 9 years ago.

Dr. Millard has trained hundreds of surgeons world wide in

this procedure.
