The machine hasbeen designed to en-sure the rated outputwhen it is installed inrooms having a maxtemperature of 40 °Cand at an altitude notexceeding 1000 me-ters; in case of diffe-rent conditions, pleasemake reference to ourcatalogue (brochure).
The generators mustnever and for no rea-son run with the termi-nal box lid removed.
The heat produced bythe generators may bevery high according tothe power generated. Therefore, do nottouch the generator ifyou do not wear anti-scorch gloves and, af-ter switching it off, donot touch it until it hascooled down to am-bient temperature.

VERIFICA DELLATENSIONETutte le macchine ven-gono tarate in fase dicollaudo; pertanto sela tensione dovesse ri-sultare diversa dai datidi targa, dipendera’ dauna lettura errata o dauna diversa velocita’ dirotazione.
START UPMake sure, when star-ting the machine, thatcooling air intake anddischarge openingsare free and un-blocked.
THE IMPORTANCEOF SPEEDFrequency and vol-tage depend directlyon rotational speed. Itsnominal value musttherefore be kept asconstant as possible,no matter what theload is. Drive-motorspeed control systemgenerally have a smalldrop in speed betweenno-load and load con-ditions. It is thereforerecommended toadjust the speed in no-load conditions ap-prox. 3÷4% higherthan the nominalspeed.
CHECKINGVOLTAGEAll the machines areregulated during fac-tory testing. If voltagereadings differ fro thevalue indicated on thename plate, this maybe caused by a wrongreading or by a diffe-rent rotational speedand we recommendregulating motorspeed in order to havenominal RPM underloaded conditions.
DIODECHECK-UPIf the ohmmeter isused each diode willbe tested for continuityin only one direction.Otherwise, the testcan be done with abattery and a smalllamp and by invertingthe battery polarity thelamp will light up inone direction only.
