Listening to Ben Bruce at the Silverbird Man of the Year Award was hilarious. Not that the issues he raised were funny. Indeed, they were very serious matters; arguably, the root cause of the problems with Nigeria – leadership, graft and wastage. The freebee in government is phenomenal! And scandalous! Government money is free money, squandered with impunity.

And so, when a Ben Bruce – who is a senator-elect –

in a hotel that costs more than 300 dollars, you see a paradox. Here is a man who rules the glam and entertainment sphere in Nigeria turning out to be a socialist?

That speech should be studied by everyone in government and treated with the seriousness and urgency it

I had not heard from her for a while. The last time we spoke, we left on a good note. She had sought for my services to get over a rape experience she had with armed robbers. After we went through all the medicals (and that took 3 months running.) This was followed by re-running tests to know if there were further damages that we had to be concerned about. Then, we addressed the mental, emotional and psy-chological issues.

know what you are going through. And if you talk, get ready for change that brings healthy balance into your life.

Sometimes, people mistake desperation for determination. Desperation is borne out of hopeless-ness and will make you do senseless things where-as determination is borne out of hope, even in the midst of a seeming hopeless case. Determination does not lose sight of the goal and so has a PLAN and a resolute decision made to get there well.

Desperation is always concerned about what others think or have to say to the extent that after a while, the person loses focus of the goal if there was ever any; desperation always employs gambling and indecent ways of reaching the “goal of confusion”.

May I advise that you seek counselling to know where you really are.

She loves to travel, discover new places, meet people of different cultures and has done a lot of that. She was in a very bad marriage but is now healed and has her groove back.

She wants to meet and will like to be married to a Caucasian between 37 and 45 who is not a free thinker but Christian!

CLASSIFICATIONS OF GINLondon Dry Gin is the dominant English style of Gin. As a style it lends itself particularly well to mixing. Plymouth Gin is relatively full-bodied (when compared to London Dry Gin). It is clear,

slightly fruity, and very aromatic. Old Tom Gin is the last remaining example of the original lightly sweetened gins that were so popular in 18th-century England. Genever or Hollands is the Dutch style of Gin.

HERE ARE 5 THINGS YOU DID NOT KNOW ABOUT GIN: 1. There are more classic cocktails made with Gin than with any other spirit. Where do we start? Negroni, Ramos Gin Fizz, Gin Rickey, Red Snapper, Tom Collins, White Lady, Hanky Panky, Clover Club, Alexander, French 75, Gimlet, Vesper, Singapore Sling, Silver Bronx,

not forget The Martinez. And that is just scratching the surface!2. Gin is from Holland and not England. Gin is

A drink speaks volumes about your sense of style and occasion. A classic Martini is simplicity itself – yet conjures up images of James Bond, of languid cocktails and of elegant people dressed for an evening of opulence. And at the centre of it all – is usually a bottle of gin.

so-called botanicals and a varied assortment of herbs and spices including anise, angelica root, cinnamon, orange peel, coriander, and cassia bark. Gin has birthed many other cocktails – such as the famous Gin and Tonic, Dirty Martini and the Tom Collins and after several years of being seen as out-dated on the cocktail circuit, the drink is successfully re-acquiring old and new enthusiastic followers. All Gin and Genever makers have their own secret combination of botanicals, the number of which can range from as few as four to as many as Fifteen.
