WHAT IS IT?Very similar to MS Office in that it includes Text Documents, Spreadsheet, and Presentation

Use Formula and Database template to calculate equations, and complex and multipart documents

PROSFree!

Very simple and organized

Lets you open and save documents in formats as diverse as MS

Office formats, PDF, HTML, and XML – vise versa

Within each template, there are more formatting tools than MS

Office – For example: mail merge, macros, charting capabilities, etc

Wizard – walks user through creating spreadsheets, presentations, etc.

Template’s ribbon isn’t nearly as useful as MS Office – buttons are old-fashioned

Much slower compared to MS Office

Occupies more memory usage
