After looking at the word cloud of the lyrics I have came up with a few

album title ideas, that would fit in with the construction of my star

and the connotations of the single (the song).

Torn Away

Erased

Too late

Almost there

Nostalgic Moments

Changes

Lonely days and sleepless nights

Born to love

Chords and heartbreak

Here without you

Lonesome days

These album title ideas are

linked to heartbreak and

memories of the past; this is

what I want to incorporate into

my music video.

Damn, I want my baby back

It's so cold without her

Cold without her

She's gone

Now I'm alone, no one to hold on

Cause she was the only one

And I know I was dead wrong

But if you you you

If you you you

See her sooonn

Ask her will she forgive me

The introduction of this song is also quite instrumental, with a piano solo starting off

the song. The lyrics suggests to us that the singer wants his lover back and life feels

cold without her, or perhaps her treatment towards him is ‘cold’ from his point of

view. The imagery that I get from this is a lonely man walking around harsh weather

and some images of cold places; snow and leaves falling. Things around him being a

reminiscent of her; places that they have to, things that they have done together

etc. This stanza talks a lot about loneliness, so it conveys the image of a person being

alone, and isolation is perhaps the running theme of this song. Themes of

heartbrokenness and isolation arise from this section of the song, the song has a very

remorseful tone added to it as he is asking others if they see her to ask her if she can

forgive him and give him another chance.

If you ever see her

If you ever meet her

If you ever get a chance to sit down and talk to her

Then tell her it's so cold

It's so cold, it's so cold

Here without her

And tell her I miss her

Tell her I need her

Tell her I want her

I really want her to come back home, back to keep me warm

Tell her I'm sorry, I'm really sorry

Can you forgive me?

Please forgive me

And come back home, keep me safe and warm

The hook of this song also exhibits feelings of remorse towards the old girlfriend. The theme of loneliness and coldness also comes to mind when looking at the hook; it shows us that the singer is desperate and literally begging to have his girlfriend back because he cannot cope with life without her. The pronoun ‘her’ has been repeated many times in this verse; therefore the song is completely focused upon ‘her’ nothing else. The noun ‘miss’ is used in the hook, this signifies nostalgia, and perhaps the singer could be looking through old photographs of when they were happy etc, as this will juxtapose with the current situation.

Now my baby's really gone

I don't know if she's coming home

My luck's up, I f*cked up

I know

Tell me what to do to get her back

Back where her heart belongs, been gone

from me too long

So if you you u, seen my boo o o

Please can you you you

Can you tell her for me

The second verse of this song is slightly more realistic from the singer’s point of

view; as he now realised that he has messed up his relationship and chances of

them getting back together is very slim. But he still shows signs of hope, as he

knows that her heart belongs with his; he is still telling people to tell her that he

still loves her. The imagery that I get from this verse is tension between the two;

arguments and accusations etc, and this is convention of R&B music videos as

couples always split through an argument, and they resolve their issues and get

back together.

All them girls across the world

You know you gotta be my

girl

All them girls across the world

You know you gotta be my

girl

All them girls across the world

You know you gotta be my

girl

All them girls across the world

You know you gotta be my

girl

Bridge

The bridge is a verse that is sort of fan-orientated as he is bragging about

meeting girls all around the world. It also means that he is saying that he

can be with any girl in the world, but he chooses to be with her. It shows us

that the singer is loyal to the ones the he loves. The artist is known for his

dancing so this part of the song would go perfectly with a dance scene.

If you ever see her, if you ever meet her

If you ever get the chance to sit down

and talk to her

Let her know it's so cold, it's so cold, it's

so cold

Here without her

The ending of the song is similar to the introduction; same remorseful tone,

loneliness and the theme of cold weather. He is still pleading people around

him to tell her that he is sorry and still loves her.
