Mexican Flea Markets can be seen in a variety of places in Southern Texas. This one located in Alamo, Texas (we took Hwy 83 to Alamo Rd. turnoff) had hundreds of venders, about 95% Mexican, selling their wares. We found plants, pets (any kind you could think of), designer makeup, purses, boots, antiques, tools, old cars, food stands, fruit/vegetable stands, used clothing, new clothing, shoes, beads and findings, rocks, old car parts, everything you could think of.It was fun bargaining with the vendors. Chuck and I got some really good deals, plus had fun in the process. There was plenty of parking and the cost to get in was 25 cents.
