Introduction

As you can see, the air quality of Hong Kong is starting to get worse in these few years. If we don’t stop the pollution what might happen to us? There would be a sky filled with different gases like a smokescreen, no green trees growing and a dirty sea with all animals dieing.

Air quality of Hong Kong

• In the Hong Kong Observation Centre you can always see the air pollution level is medium

• Places in Mong Kok, Causeway Bay, Central is high as usual

• The sky is sometimes not blue

• Mountains covered with smoke

• A lot of CO2 produced

• Can’t really see buildings

Road Pollution

• One of the main pollution is road pollution

• It is produced by vehicles (cars, taxis, buses)

• The engines burn fuels

• Burns gasoline or diesel

• Produces large amounts of chemicals

• Roads are always filled with cars

Pollution

• Air pollution are chemicals wasted to the air

• It harms the human organs

• Causes asthma

• Visibility decreasing

• If pollution carries on we will never see the blue sky

• It comes from industrials , vehicles and burning fossil fuels

• Releases CO2 which will make global warming

Global Warming

• The result of pollution continuing is global warming

• Global warming makes the ice in Antarctica melt

• The sea level rises and a lot of people would die

• When animals living in Antarctica can’t find land they would drown

• What can we do?

Solution of Global Warming

• We could stop releasing CO2

• How?

• Reducing the amount of fossil fuel burnt

• Use cars that releases less CO2

• Be recycle

• Turn lights off to save energy and resources

• Turn a fan on instead of always using air-conditioner
