Serum and blood clot lysate samples of mice, treated with or without (Con) LPS, were tested using AimPlex mouse cytokine assays. This experiment is important indicating that besides serum, blood clots (after lysed with AimPlex lysis buffer) can be used for measurements of many blood cytokines, thus resulting in savings of precious serum samples that can be saved for other assays

Your Resource for Customized Multiplex Assay Panels
An unmet need in the current multiplex immunoassay market
• Many experiments require custom assay panels
• Expensive to produce by large companies due to time-consuming documentation workload and review process
• Other multiplex assay providers, if offering custom panels, usually charge extra and/or require a minimum order of analytes or plates
AimPlex provides a solution for this unmet need: • No extra charge for custom panels
• Customer only needs to order one 96-well plate
• Custom premixed beads as well as custom premixed detection Abs (dAbs) at no extra charge
• >80% of AimPlex orders are custom panels.

Your Resource for Customized Multiplex Assay Panels
Use an existing flow cytometer: no need to purchase and maintain another expensive instrument
Higher throughput with a HTS microplate loader (10-15min)
◦ It takes >45min to read a 96-well plate on a Luminex 100/200
Much less chance of clogging especially for complex matrix such as serum and plasma
◦ Flow cytometers are designed for cells (many are much larger than the 4 and 5 micron beads).
AimPlex will make custom panels

Which sample types are suitable for AimPlex Immunoassays?
◦ Human, non-human primate, mouse and rat cell culture supernatant, serum, plasma, cell/tissue lysate and other body fluids such as saliva, BALF, pleural fluid, peritoneal fluid, synovial fluid and cerebrospinal fluid.
What is the maximum multiplex level?
◦ Up to 24-plex.
What flow cytometer can be used?
◦ Any flow cytometry analyzer equipped with a 488nm laser.
Does it need a plate loader?
◦ No. Process the assay on a filter plate. Transfer to sample tube and run on a flow cytometer without a plate loader.
Can I use a Luminex* to analyze AimPlex assays?
◦ No.
Any other equipment needed?
◦ AimPlex EzPrep Filter Plate Washer (PN: VM1001)
◦ Plate shaker.
Can I create my own multiplex panel?
◦ Yes, by ordering multiple “Single-Plex” kits within a group. Custom premixed panels are also available for 6 or more analytes in a panel at no extra charge (allow 15 business days for delivery).
If the assay/panel I want is not available, what should I do?
◦ We offer custom premixed multiplex panels as well as custom assay development for analytes not currently available. We will work with you to design panels and assays. Please contact us for pricing, lead time and details for those offerings.
How to analyze the data?
◦ We recommend using SoftFlow’s FCAP Array* V3.
How to place an order?
◦ Complete an AimPlex ordering form and email ([email protected]) or fax (626-604-5228) for a quote so you can place an order accordingly.
