Project sales cycle support: Advanced Projects™ is the only system that supports giving project quotes directly based on complex WBS (work break structure) projects and at the same time combines all elements from costing, detailed tasks breakdown and material requirement and resourcing - taking the availability of sta�/tools/equipment into account, in one single solution.

Advanced Projects™ can within minutes give their customers very precise quotes, based on project templates, even imported MS Projects, in regards to both cost and delivery. After a win, Advanced Projects™ easily transfers the quote using the attached WBS project quote template to create the �rmed project in the project module. This takes out the typical painful and costly discrepancies between quotes and �rmed projects.

Project Management – the holistic approach: Only Advanced Projects™ o�ers a more holistic approach to project management. Project salesAdvanced Projects™ offers several tools to optimize your project sales cycle. The powerful project assisted quotation feature that is built on top of the standard AX Project quotation, greatly simplify the quotation process.

It enables you to build up your quotations from a real WBS project, instead of having to piece it together line by line. You can use existing project templates, choose to import a MS Project, or create a new WBS structured project from scratch with attached items and expenses.

Another bene�t from using quotation projects is that you can simulate scheduling and give your customer projected delivery dates and precise budget estimates.

When you have a win, Advanced Projects™ easily transfers the quote using the attached WBS project quote template to create the �rmed project in the project module. All you need to do is to schedule the project (1 click). No need for time consuming setup of an entirely new project after each win.

This allows you to do �nite planning with named resources or plan with bulk (unnamed) capacity, or a mix of the two, in your projects.

This provides greater control over project execution and helps to maintain transparency as to who’s doing what and when. Users can create work�ow exception tasks on the �y, to catch errors and problems, and make them part of the project, work�ow and schedule. Advanced Projects™ collects task status and actual time from users that will automatically promote the project work �ows. No need for project managers to do statusing.

Advanced Projects™ o�ers sophisticated analytics tools. You can perform EVA or Earned Value Analysis on your projects to judge real-world performance. Critical Path Analysis enables you to make smarter choices when running and editing projects.

Planning models, allowing you to run planning simulations in parallel and asses impact of changes to resources, capacity and constraints across multiple projects at one time.

Project Compacting, offers you prioritized batch rescheduling of your running projects. Simple and powerful way to incorporate planning changes in a easy, secure and organized way.

Advanced Projects™ also o�ers all the basic project features like: WBS task structured projects, project milestone management, task predecessor successor rules, task date constraint rules, multiple assignments per task with optional unit based load, de�ne task by work or duration, sub project embedment, add notes and attachments to task, calendars management and more.
