Advanced Document Management for Microsoft Dynamics AX
Organise and customize your company’s most important archive material with Advanced
Document Management, Softsite’s new document handling module for Dynamics AX.
We have refined our popular archive management system to increase efficiency when it
comes to labeling, storing and generating material.
ADM’s integration with Dynamics AX enables businesses to view all documents in Dynamics
AX and improve locating material through full text searches in e-mails, PDFs and other file
types.
ADM enables you to:
� Archive e-mails and photographs, not just PDFs and MS Word documents
� Create complex documents and forms in any language based on Microsoft Word/Excel
templates
� Users can define how they want document storage to be organized
� Store different versions of documents in one place
� Quick movement of external source documents – material can be drag&dropped into
ADM
� Generate barcodes to attach to external documents enabling automatic assignment to
any record once scanned
� Filter by full text search, document type or date
� ADM can be used for any module, e.g. employee management, project management,
customers, vendors, inventory management, etc.
Display all documents and e-mails in the electronic file
All documents and e-mails will be displayed based on their classification in the tree structure.

Use ADM as an electronic file for employees
Integrate ADM on the employee form. Navigate through the document tree and display
previews without switching forms.
Import external documents
In addition to the automatic import process based on barcodes, ADM provides a structured
import process. New documents are displayed in a preview to allow for easy document
attachment to the corresponding record (e.g. an employee):

E-mail referencing
Each user can define if his or her e-mails should be always or never imported, or if he or she
wants to decide on a case-to-case basis:
Based on the sender and receiver(s), the e-mails will be automatically assigned to the
corresponding business contact (e.g. vendor, employee). The e-mails will not only be
displayed on the vendor or employee record, it can also be searched for by using full text
search.
Document generation
Based on the current record (e.g. an employee), all available templates will be displayed
(based on a Microsoft Word or Excel file):
ADM is based on the integration with a Document Management System such as MS
SharePoint or Windream.
ADM is available for Dynamics AX 2009
as well as Dynamics AX 2012.
