Acts 19:10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the Word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

So effective was this work that the Gospel emanated throughout the province of Asia, on the west coast of modern-day Turkey. During this time the churches at Colosse, Laodicea, and Hierapolis were founded (Col 4:13).

11-12 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

When God wants to confirm His Word or His minister, He may use miracles to do so.

Paul sent aprons and handkerchiefs, and people were healed and devils cast out.

God was doing the work; Paul didn't have to be there.

13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the Name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure (charge) you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

You have to know Himfor yourself.

A person can only do such miracles when he is filled and anointed by the Holy Ghost to do them.

We can't heal the sick or cast out devils, just because we want to. It has to be the

Will of God

Galatians 5 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

When a person lives and walks in the Spirit, it will be evident because

God will produce His fruit in us.

Galatians 5 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love (agape), joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The highest form of love (agape) is not merely a feeling or emotion; it is a way of life

described in 1 Corinthians 13.

1 Corinthians 13 (NIV) 4 Love is patient, love is kind. Romantic love (or eros) will never measure up to the Biblical standard of love.

But godly love never fails.Even friendship (phileo) will sometimes fail.

(Again) Galatians 5 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love (agape), joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

When we are submitted to the Holy Spirit of God,

He will produce His fruit in us.

We won't have to struggle to acquire these character traits;

We won't have to sweat to behave as the children of God.

Just as an apple tree produces apples.

And a pear tree produces pears.

The Holy Spirit produces His fruit in every one who submits unto Him.

But it takes time; wait patiently on God.

Be patient with yourself.

But don't fight it.
