Civil Infrastructure: Description of the Jetty

• Located west of the main breakwater of Vasilikos Port at a distance of 1.3km

• Runs offshore in a N.S. direction for 750m and turns (220oN) S.W. for 436m to form FSRU berth

• Future extension by another 300m for an LNG Carrier is foreseen

• 4 Breasting Dolphins & 8 Mooring Dolphins

• Central loading/unloading platform: (30*40*1.5)m at +8.00 (MSL)

• Trestle is 14m wide with pile caps on vertical steel pipe piles at 20m interval

• Pile caps support a 5m roadway & 9m pipe rack, to accommodate cryogenic (LNG) and NG pipes

• Expansion Loops at about 250m distance

• Depth at the inner berth: 15-18m(LAT)

• Depth at the outer (future) berth: 22m (LAT)

• Rubble mound revetment construction

PART B – PORT OF LIMASSOL

Introduction

• Port of Limassol is participating in POSEIDON MED II Project

• Site Planning, HAZID, Wave Modeling, Conceptual Designs etc. had been completed by the beginning of 2017

• Design defined the lay-out of the installations including jetty, LNG tanks, Truck loading bays, cold vent and supporting installations

•The possibility of installing an FSRU in Vassilikos Area led to considerations, expressed by CPA, to relocate the projected Small Scale LNG activities installation, from Limassol port to the area of Limassol 2 (Vassilikos).

•MECIT (CY) expressed their consent for the inclusion of LNG Bunkering Facilities at the suggested by CYNERGY jetty of Vassilikos
