Cypress Sun Resorts needs to export the data from the Customers table so that they can work with the data using Excel. To complete this database, you will need the following file: a03_Golf_Rounds You will save your files as: a03_Golf_Rounds_Your_Name a03_Players_Your_Name.xlsx a03_Scores_Your_Name.html 1. The Export - Excel Spreadsheet dialog box can save the table in four different Excel fileformats.

8. If your instructor asks you to print your work, from the Office menu, click Print. In the dis-played Print dialog box, under Print range, click in the To box, type 1 and then click OK toprint the worksheet’s first page.

9. Close the Excel window. In Access, in the displayed Export - Excel Spreadsheet dialogbox, click the Close button.

10. In the Navigation Pane, right-click the Scores query, and then click Design View.

11. In the Criteria row for the Tournament column, type Dorian Invitational 2010

12. In the Criteria row for the Round column, type 1 Run the query. Be sure that 15 recordsdisplay. Save , and then Close the query.

13. Display the External Data tab. With the Scores query still selected, in the Export group,click the More button, and then click HTML Document.

14. In the displayed Export - HTML Document dialog box, click the Browse button. In the displayed File Save dialog box, navigate to your Access Chapter 3 folder, name the filea03_Scores_Your_Name and then click Save.

15. In the displayed Export - HTML Document dialog box, select the Export data with for-matting and layout check box, and then select the Open the destination file after theexport operation is complete check box as shown in Figure 4.

16. Click OK. In the displayed HTML Output Options dialog box, click OK. Wait a few sec-onds for the query to display in Internet Explorer or other Web browser, and then compareyour screen with Figure 5.

17. If your instructor asks you to print your work, click the Print button , and then print theWeb page.

18. Close Internet Explorer. In the displayed Export - HTML Document dialog box, clickthe Save export steps check box.

19. In the displayed Description box, type the following: Exports the Scores query as a Webpage. Click the Save Export button.

20. In the Export group, click the Saved Exports button, and then compare your screen withFigure 6.

In the Manage Data Tasks dialog box, you can quickly perform the export again byselecting it and then clicking the Run button. Cypress Sun Resorts will update the cri-teria in the Scores query, and then use this technique to quickly create Web pages fortournament scores.
