REPORT OF INTERCOLLEGIATE MEN’S KABADDI

TOURNAMENT

Date: - 4th & 5th October 2018

Time: 8.00 a.m. to 6.30 pm

Venue: HET’s College of C.S.I.T Campus

Introduction: Sports Department, University of Mumbai organized Intercollegiate

Men’s Kabaddi Tournament for Zone-IV, at Hirwal Education Trust’s College of

C.S.I.T. Mahad on 4th & 5th October 2018.

Objective: To provide a platform to conduct intercollegiate men’s tournament for

college in Raigad district. To select best kabaddi team from the Raigad district for inter zone Kabaddi

Tournament University of Mumbai. To develop sportsmanship among the students.

Report in Brief:

Inauguration program: Student Council Member Miss. Sayali More & Snehal Tambatkar read the

agenda of program.

Detailed Proceeding: The program inaugurated at 9.00 a.m. on 4th October

2018 by Chief Guest with Lightening Lamp, Sarswati Poojan and University

song.

Flag Hoisting: University sport flag was hoisted by Chief Guest.

Guest Welcome: Hon’ble Chairman Mr. Kishor Dharia welcomed

the Chief Guest Mr. J. J. Patil, Vice President Raigad Jilha Kabbadi

Association and Mr. More, PSI Mahad Taluka by offering Shawl &

Plant sapling.

Hon’ble Chairmen Mr. Kishorbhai Dharia gave guidance to all participant

and students about how they tackle to situation and also Our Chief Guest

gave inspiration about their healthy life.

The Guest of honor, Mr. More, PSI Mahad Taluka, inaugurate the ground

opening ceremony.

Our college GS Mr. Prashant Pakad (District Level Kabaddi), Third Year

B.Sc.IT express the sports oath with all the participant.

After sports oath, the matches began. All Kabaddi teams played against each

other as per the draw.

48 Colleges teams with 576 students participated in this competition.

On the first Day, that is 4th October 2018, the competition started at 11.00 p.m. and

continued till 6.00 p.m. The first round was completed on first day.

College provided free accommodation and food to all the referees.

Similarly the College provided free accommodation to all the Kabaddi Teams.

The College provided medical facility to all the stakeholders of tournaments. Dr.

Rajesh Gujar extended medical service for both days.

On Second day, that is 5th October 2018, the remaining matches were conducted

starting from 9.00 a. m. to 2.00 p.m.

The First four teams were as follows:

1) Smt. Anandibai Pradhan ACS College, Nagothne. (Winner)

2) G.M Vedak Science College, Tala (Runners up)

3) PNP ACS College, Alibag

4) JSM ACS College, Alibag

In valedictory function the chief guest felicitated winning and runner up

teams providing certificates and saplings.

Mrs. Anushka Salunkhe had read out two days tournament report in brief.

Mr. Mokal Chief Refry Raigad District Kabaddi Association, appreciated

Hirwal Education Trust for good organization of Kabaddi tournament and

providing an excellent infrastructural facilities along with food and

accommodation.

Mr. Kunal Dalvi (GS) presented the vote of thanks.

The Valedictory program ended with the National Anthem.
