V2 Page 1 1 About Reynolds Learning Communities A learning community (LC) is when two courses in the same semester are strategically linked together and the same students enroll in both courses. This Fall Reynolds has paired up courses in 8 unique LCs to enrich student learning. LC Benefits • Shared assignments and topics—Instructors work to integrate assignments for crossover learning. • Convenient scheduling—LC classes are typically scheduled back-to-back. • Support system—The LC structure makes it easier to meet peers, make friends, and get assistance from professors. • And that’s not all—The linked courses can help you meet the requirements for your program at no additional cost! How to Enroll To enroll, follow these steps: 1. Review the descriptions on pages 2 through 4 and find the LC you would like to take. 2. Note the 5-digit course numbers for both LC courses. 3. In your Student Center, add both classes to your schedule. Here’s how: a. Click Enroll, then click Add. b. Type the 5-digit number for Class #1, then click Enter. c. Type the 5-digit number for Class #2, then click Enter. d. Click Proceed to Step 2 of 3. e. Click Finish Enrolling. NOTE: If you need assistance or have questions about enrolling, visit or call the Enrollment Center on any campus.
