Yayasan MRCB raises RM 730,000 from its charity

concert – Yannick Bovy celebrates 100 years of Nat

King Cole

Yayasan MRCB raised RM730,000 in itsYannick Bovy

Celebrates 100 Years of Nat King Cole fundraiser concert.

The charity concert which was attended by more than 700

guests, saw Belgian crooner Bovy serenading audiences

with classic Cole hits such as Unforgettable, Mona Lisa,

Autumn Leaves, I Love You for Sentimental Reasons and

When I Fall In Love. Major sponsors of the concert included

Gabungan AQRS Berhad, Sapura Group, Armada Baiduri

Sdn Bhd, S&S Quest Resources Sdn Bhd, Primercon UTEC

Consortium, Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd and

Costa Coffee Stores as well as 50 other sponsors.

Yayasan MRCB contributes RM 30,000 to 10 families

af fected by fire in Kampung Baru Benta, Kuala Lipis,

Pahang

Yayasan MRCB contributed RM30,000 to 10 families to

assist them in rebuilding their houses that were burnt

down due to a fire that occurred on 30 October 2019 at

Kampung Baru, Benta, Kuala Lipis, Pahang. This

contribution will assist the 10 families to rebuild their

lives. Each family received RM3,000.

To-date, Yayasan MRCB has contributed more than RM1.1

million to assist underprivileged students and less

fortunate communities across Malaysia.

Yayasan MRCB contributes RM 120,000 to train

youths with learning disabilities

Yayasan MRCB contributed RM120,000 to train 20 youths

with learning disabilities for six months on the Economic

Empowerment Programme at the Rumah Amal Cheshire

Training Centre in Batu Caves, Selangor. It is a structured

programme that involves training on skills to improve

these youths’ knowledge and eventually gain their

financial independence. This Economic Empowerment

Programme training will expose the youths to various

areas such as time and money management, methods of

baking cakes and bread, hospitality, job coaching, usage of

public transportation, social skills and much more.

MRCB celebrates customers wi th Carnival

Fun-Tasia 2019

Carnival Fun-Tasia was organised as part of MRCB’s

customer engagement initiative, in conjunction with

the completion of VIVO Residences and SOHO at Tria

Seputeh in July 2019. The event was organised to

express gratitude as well as great opportunity for

MRCB to bond and engage with their customers.

The 2-day event kicked off with performances by local

artists, various games like Skee Ball, Snooke Ball, Tic

3 Tac Toe and Balloon Dart. An appreciation night

was held in Hong Kong for MRCB’s international

purchasers.

Customer Satisfaction Surveys on residential and

commercial properties

MRCB conducted the Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSS) on the

residential and commercial properties that it develops and

manages. The surveys were conducted six months after

completion of a residential or commercial project. It is MRCB’s

aim to exceed clients’ expectations by studying the results of

the survey and implementing procedures for improvement.

MRCB Annual D inner 2019

MRCB held its Annual Dinner at Sime Darby Convention

Centre on 28 September 2019 and saw 1,000 staff turn up,

dressed to the theme of ‘Denim and Diamonds’. At the

event, everyone was entertained by the Division

Performance competition with the Auxiliary Police 7 from

the Security and Safety Division emerging as champions

winning RM3,000 in cash. Specially MRCB-engraved gold

plates were also presented to staff in recognition of their

20 years of service to the company. Some highlights of the

night also included performances from local stars such as

Dato’ Awie and Manbai and exciting lucky draw prizes.

MRCB’s 62nd Merdeka Day Celebration

MRCB’s Merdeka Day celebration took place on 30 August 2019

and saw the whole office come alive with over 300 employees

singing their hearts out to classic tunes such as ‘Negaraku’,

‘Kita Punya Malaysia’ and ‘Gemuruh’. The event which was

initiated by the Employee Engagement team was a huge success.

There was also the MRCB’s National Day 2019 TikTok Video

Challenge competition where employees creatively posted a

short video of themselves promoting the spirit of patriotism in

conjunction with Merdeka Day.

MRCB’s Health Carnival – AIA Vi ta lity programme

At MRCB, we believe that being able to take care of our

employees is an incredibly important investment. The Health

Carnival – AIA Vitality programme to staff was launched on 3

July 2019 as part of MRCB’s employee engagement

initiative. The programme was aimed at creating a work

culture that promotes a healthy lifestyle.

At the event were AIA’s partners namely Fitness First, GARMIN,

Cardiac Vascular Central, Medklinn, Vitagen and Milo.
