    The theoretical knowledge given to the student of

    business Administration from the various books is not

    enough for their learning point of view. The practical

    training also necessary for the development and

    enhancement of knowledge in particular field with whichthey are concerned. It is not possible to perform

    efficiently with only theoretical knowledge in present

    market situations. The practical study and training

    provides awareness of the realistic situation of business

    The salary is decided on the basis of performance

    and qualification of the staff. The salary is started from

    Rs. 4000 to Rs.5000 and paid each and every employee

    as per government rules.

    In Ability, promotion is given on the basis of

    performance, skill and experience of the worker.

    A transfer is a horizontal or lateral shift from one

    WORKING CAPITAL MANAGEMENT

    Working capital is the name given to the short term

    area of the balance sheet working capital includes for a

    balance sheet items.

    STOCK: stock of raw material, partly completed

    production and finished goods waiting on sales.

    Debtors: Amounts owed to the company mainly

    from customers in respect of sale made on credit.

    Creditors: Amounts owed to the company mainly to

    suppliers of raw materials, services, electricity, water,

    telephone, rent etc. but also possibly unpaid tax

    demands, unpaid dividends and other items.

    CASH: bank balance, cash holding and short term

    investments.

    Working capital includes current assets and current

    liabilities areas of balance sheet working capital can be

    called by its alternative name net current assets.

    Ability is spending 25 crore in R&D activity. Ability

    has 60 design development engineers and all machinery

    is checked by R&D department.

    The research engineers are always fed with all the

    necessary equipment to undergo various assignments

    towards the new product development value addition in

    existing product, enhancement in user friendliness and

    other aspects.

    Active R&D team of Ability has achieved

    outstanding successes by developing TPM (Total

    Productive Maintenance) friendly machines andproductivity in house developed software like POTS etc.

    Majority of the employees are in their age

    group of 35-50 years. 35% of the employees

    have technical skills and computer knowledge

    followed by 41% of the employees who are

    graduates.

    Majority of the employees are happy about

    their working condition and their relation with

    their co-workers and superiors.
