    at Yesmart, Kukatpally for his valuable guidance, close supervision and helpful suggestion

    over the past two months. He inspired and encouraged me to work all through the training

    period. I am really thankful to him for allowing me to handle such a big project and opening

    up tremendous learning opportunities in front of me. I also extend my sincere thanks to Mr.

    Suresh Sales Executive at Yesmart, Kukatpally for his suggestions and help.

    Further I would like to thank Mr. Praveen Assistant Sales Manager and Team leader for

    guiding me patiently with valuable inputs at every stage of the project and bringing out the

    best in me.

    Executive Summary

    This project is assigned to me to know the consumer behaviour towards financing at BAJAJ

    FINSERV Ltd. Company provides a broad range of loaning products for different type of

    products. But this study is pertaining to consumer durable goods only. Company is providing

    loan at 0 % of interest for consumer durable goods only.

    Company is providing different of schemes for consumer durable products with respect to

    festivals, weekends and weekdays. This specific study is limited to study the consumer

    behaviour towards financing at YESMART store Kukatpally, Hyderabad.

    The main objective of study was to study which type of customers prefer financing for a

    product depending upon their salary, cost of the product, and interest on the product etc. High

    technology products like Laptop, mobile and Digital cameras are charged an interest of 7%

    and processing fee for financing the product.

    The study was a resultant of a market research of seventy sample respondents. Questionnaires

    are used for primary data resource. Internal data of company and sales person experience are

    used as secondary data research. It was a random sampling plan.

    I found that most selling products were AC, Air cooler and Refrigerators .Daikin AC is the

    most preferred brand in AC segment, Symphony and Bajaj among Air coolers and Samsung

    among refrigerators. Products were offered at a low price compared to most of the stores but

    the dealer buy down charges was a disadvantage which leads to loosing certain amount of

    customers.
