Summary
This 5 year review including Executive Summary is to be completed by the program undergoing review and an external reviewer (not Advisory Board), sent to the Office of Academic Affairs for review, comment, revision, approval by February 15, reviewed by the Board of Governors in April or May, and submitted to the WVCTCS by May 31 (not to be more than 2-3 pages)

2. External reviewer(s) information (report should be given to an external reviewer not on Advisory Board for scrutiny. Many institutions use reviewers from institutions with similar programs. The reviewer should prepare a summary that addresses their perceptions on how well a program is meeting the criteria addressed in the body of the report. Please list external reviewer name, credentials, institution or company: ATMAE (Association of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering) Visiting accreditation team and the ATMAE Board of Directors.
3. Synopses of significant findings, including findings of external reviewer(s) Refer to Drafting Design Follow Up Report. This report responds to the partial compliance of standards that were identified to the ATMAE (Association of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering) site visit.
4. Identification of weaknesses or deficiencies from the previous review and the status of improvements implemented or accomplished All partial compliance standards were corrected. This was presented before the ATMAE Board of Directors at the November 2106 meeting. The board voted unanimously for a continued 6 year reaccreditation.

8. Summary of assessment model and how results are used for program improvement
After discussion and approval of the Drafting/Design Industrial Advisory Committee, the new program changes will be made. With the changes in the math and science requirements, the Drafting/Design Engineering Technology program will provide more flexibility and course offerings for the student. Course electives have been added to provide students with a choice of courses to meet their individual needs. As of February 1, 2018, the curriculum proposal resides in committee for approval then on to faculty senate for approval.
