restoration for those who have been obedient, those

who are obedient, and those who will begin to walk

in obedience to His word. If we know that we

haven’t been obedient to our Father as we should,

now is an excellent time to begin so that we may be

able to receive the blessings that He has prepared

for us in this particular season.

During this entire year, we will be focusing on the

“RE’s.” Each month during the Sunday Morning

Worship Service, we will be focusing on a specific

topic of the RE’s. We started out January’s

month’s theme with “RESTORATION,” in which

we reiterated and taught on various areas of restora-

tion during January’s Bible Study. February’s Sun-

day Morning theme, was “RECONCILIATION.“

Please keep your ears open to

find out what the theme for

March will be, and throughout the entire year. The

best part is yet to come.

Abundance of Blessings

Dear Readers, greet-

ings in the holy name

of Jesus the Christ.

The grand winter

weather with its holi-

days and cool chills is

nearly over and we are

now approaching the

season of spring. As

we hear the sounds of the birds chirping, see the

budding of trees, and celebrate various holidays

during the spring season, we are also

anticipating those wonderful things

that God is springing up in our lives.

About this time we are about a quarter into the

new year of 2015, and I hope that you were able

to accomplish many goals that you set for last

year; but if not, God has so graciously given us

another year to revamp if it is possible. There

may be many things that you have suffered the

loss of over many years. If this is the case for

you, then I want to take this time to, inform for

some, and bring to the remembrance of those

who attended our New Year’s Eve Service.

During our New Year’s Eve Service, we re-

vealed our theme for 2015 which is

“RESTORATION IS HERE.” God told me to

tell His people that this would be the year for

There are three times during the year in which cre-

dentials can be issued. These include: The AAF

Spring Council, The AAF Fall Council, and the

AAF Holy Convocation.

All credentials are issued with an expiration date and

must be renewed after the expiration date has been

expired. This is only if the minister will be continu-

ing their ministry within the AAF Inc. organization.

The purpose for this is to continue to be recognized

as being in good standing, and as being in associa-

tion with the AAF Inc. Organization.

If you are on

the move for

God, and

have a burn-

ing desire to

excel in the

area of your

call in the

m i n i s t r y ,

According to His word, God has put in place a

proper order and protocol.

Application in three major areas can help ensure

that you are within proper alignment with God’s

will for your ministry. These include: faithful

servitude, spiritual education, and proper ordi-

nation release.

Within the AAF Inc., we offer several courses

that will help you to prepare for the release of

your credentials. Preceding these courses, there is

a requirement that Foundational Classes within

your attending church are completed such as the:

New Member’s Class. Thereafter, if you feel the

call of God on your life in the area of a specified

ministry or ministries, I encourage you to register

for the proper classes, or courses which are neces-

sary for you. These classes and courses are of-

fered through our Christian Education Depart-

ment. Some classes are offered only when neces-

sary, and/or by request..

For a list of classes and courses offered through our Christian Education Dept., please see page14-15.

Feet Wash and Communion was

established by Jesus Christ in the

New Testament. Jesus told Peter

in John 13:8 that if he didn’t par-

ticipate in this act of humility,

that he would have no part with

Him. This commandment is also

required of us today in the Body

of Christ.

If you haven’t partaken in this

event for a while, it is time to re-

affirm your faith with Jesus.

Come and partake in this fellow-

ship with the Body of Christ.

We are asking everyone to wear

white (men, white shirts, and

black pants, or suits.)

It’s time to sacrifice unto the

Lord with wholeness of spirit,

soul, and body.

Before the fast, remember to

prepare your body by eating

smaller portions of food, so

that you can have a smooth

transition, and to avoid shock-

ing the body.

We are encouraging those

who have physical, mental, or

spiritual situations, and haven't

participated in this fast, to at-

tempt to give it a try. Material

is available to help you to suc-

cessfully accomplish this fast.

You’ll feel better in the end.

On Sunday, February 1, 2015, Asst. Pastor Marsha

Riley preached a message entitled “Salvation Is

For Whoever Wants It (ref: page 27).”

Salvation in it’s fullness (which is by receiving the

Holy Ghost once you believe) is simple and non-

complicated. It is free, and it doesn’t take a long

time to receive it. It’s quick and powerful.

Believing in the Lord Jesus, repenting of one’s

sins, and being baptized in His name, are the initial

steps toward true salvation. However, the comple-

tion of salvation is accomplished when we receive

the Gift of the Holy Ghost (ref: Acts 2:38).

When Paul met the disciples (followers of Jesus)

at Ephesus, he asked them a simple question,

“Have you received the Holy Ghost since you’ve

believed?” It wasn’t a question of whether they

P A G E 8

1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul hav-

ing passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and find-

ing certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye be-

lieved? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard

whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And

they said, Unto John’s baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repen-

tance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him

which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord

Jesus.

were believers; it was quite evident that they were

committed to following Christ, but now it was time

for them to move to the next level of receiving the

Holy Ghost.

These disciples responded, “We, haven’t so much

as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. How-

ever, when Paul expounded to them concerning the

completion of salvation, without hesitation, the dis-

ciple’s believed, and allowing Paul to pray for

them, they immediately received the Holy Ghost.

If you desire the completion of salvation, there is

no great mystery to being able to receive it. Just as

the disciples at Ephesus; simply believe, ask, and

yield your life to Him, and receive it TODAY!

Each Sunday, we are given the opportunity to give into the Benevo-

lence Fund. You will notice that it is already included in the area of

giving on our tithe envelope. It doesn’t take much to remember those

who are in need, maybe some loose coins, or a dollar or two. Small

coins can add up and really be a blessing to someone in need.

These funds are used for inexpensive items such

as: cards, flowers, and small donations for charity.

Don’t forget about those who are less fortunate.

God delights in people who care, for those in need.

GET HOOKED UP and worship live with BTAP

Church in Sunday Morning Worship. Many of

you are unable to come to service; we miss

you, we want to encourage you, and we don’t

want you to be left out, so we’re bringing ser-

vice to you. We’ll be airing every Sunday

Morning at 11:00pm. Tune in and give us your

feedback.

ALL YOU NEED to do is download BTAP

puter. You can even share the good news of

Jesus with a friend. Following is the purpose

and benefits of the app.

⦁ To Connect with the members, and use as

a tool of encouragement and soul winning.

If I couldn’t do it He wouldn’t have brought me to it

If I couldn’t perform it He wouldn’t have transformed it

If I couldn’t be it He wouldn’t let me see it

But I can do it I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

If it was not in store for me There wouldn’t be a door for me

If He did not appoint me Then why did He anoint me If He hadn’t prepared me

Then why did He share it with me

SO, I CAN DO IT I know I can do it

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

Are you disciplined? Most

people can be disciple in

one, two, or maybe even

many areas, but they may

have a difficult time being

disciplined in

other areas.

Being disci-

plined doesn’t

mean that everything goes

our way, or that everything

that we do will work out the

way we desire, or planned.

It means that we have de-

veloped the skill of consis-

tency, perseverance, self

motivation, and a spirit of

excellence.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if

we could develop this skill

in every area of our life.

We could actually achieve

greater suc-

cess, be more

effective in our

daily admini-

strations, and

receive greater results.

We should practice be-

coming more disciplined in

everything that we do.

Pray God’s will for your

life. Set your goals accord-

ing to His will, develop

consistency, and good

work ethics.

If we practice discipline,

we will experience GREAT-

NESS in our life.

Discipline helps to keep

us from being unstable (all

over the place). It will help

us to find the true purpose

which God created for our

life.

The AAF School of Ministry is a

Christian Ministry School that

teaches Biblical knowledge and ministry etiquettes

from an apostolic viewpoint. Each course deals

with the many types, levels, and avenues for the

proper order of ministry operations.

If you are on the move for God, and have a burn-

ing desire to excel in the area of your God given

call in the ministry, according to God’s word, He

has put in place a proper order and protocol.

Application in three major areas can help ensure

that you are in proper alignment with God’s will

for your ministry; these include: faithfulness in

service, spiritual education, and proper ordina-

tion release.

The AAF School of Ministry courses were estab-

lished to help ministers of diverse levels to prepare

them to receive their ministry credentials.

We plan our meals, we plan our day, we plan for

our children’s education, we plan for our vaca-

tions, we plan for our retirement, and we plan for

our burial. We do all of this planning to ensure

that these things will unfold as close to our visual

expectations as possible.

Just as we plan for other things

in life, we should have a visual

plan for our marriage so that we can enjoy the

marriage of our expectations and dreams.

Unfortunately, with all of the issues, and un-

expectancies that come with marriage, we find

that our marriage plans can get lost in the shuffle.

we planned and envisioned before we got married

seemed to have become a blur.

If this sounds like something that has happened

during the course of your marriage, don’t worry.

Release the plans for your marriage to the Lord.

Yes, we have our dreams and plans, but God has

a better plan; He has the ultimate plan for our

marriage. He has a plan that we’ve probably

never even dreamed about. However, we must

release our marriage to the Lord and let Him work

His work in it.

Even if your spouse is unsaved, or

seemingly unreasonable, God

knows you and your spouse,

and He knows how to fix it

and cause each situation to

work out for your good.

Trust God to be your

You’ve heard it before; “Teamwork Makes the

Dream Work.” This can be applied with any group

of people. Why not apply it to one of the greatest

creations on earth. The union of marriage.

Even though sometimes we must agree to disagree, at

least we’ll eliminate the arguing and fighting which

only leads to division. Develop great workout ethics

for your marriage and work together for the better.

Become one another’s greatest team member.

Whenever we go to the Carver Liv-

ing Center to visit the seniors, it al-

ways proves to be such a rewarding

experience. Allow me to share a

very special visit.

On February 13th, the day before Valentine’s

Day, upon visiting the seniors, as we went from

room to room, Asst. Pastor Riley passed out cute

cuddly teddy bears to each of the seniors. It was

amazing to see how much each one reacted to

the little gifts.

They were so appreciative. Just to share a few

sentiments: some hugged the bears, some cried,

and some excitedly expressed their deep appre-

ciation.

Not only were they touched, but so were we. It

is such a wonderful feeling when we are able to

touch someone else’s life in such a way. What

may seem small to us, may be big to others.

Also, something else very special happened.

There was one teddy bear left in Pastor Riley’s

bag, just for me. God knows I really wanted

one of those little cute bears.

I’m sure you know someone who is elderly.

Don’t forget to share your love with them. It

will make a world of difference to them.

If you are interested in taking the FGC Class, contact

our admin. office. See page 14 for more details.

12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give

us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the

countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's

meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten

days.

15 And at the end of ten days their countenances

appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the chil-

dren which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

There are two anchoring scriptures

for the Daniel Fast. In Daniel 1 the Prophet ate only vegetables (that would have included fruits) and drank only water. So from these scriptures we get two of the guidelines for the fast: 1. Only fruits and vegetables 2. Only water for a beverage

Then in Daniel 10 we read

that the Prophet ate no meat nor any precious breads or foods and he drank no wine for 21 days. So from this scripture, we get a third guide: 3. No sweeteners and no breads

Another important guideline is

drawn from Jewish fasting princi-ples, where no leaven is used during the fast. So that's why yeast, baking powder and the like are not allowed while going on the Daniel Fast.

Finally, with all the above puzzle

pieces, we conclude that no artificial or processed foods nor any chemi-cals are allowed on the Daniel Fast.

The Daniel Fast book by

Susan Gregory Is recom-

mended to help experi-

ence a successful fast.

Recipes are included. If

you don’t have a copy,

please Inquire. Contact

Info. is on page 38.

The Body - Many men and women experience detoxing from caffeine, chemicals and sugar. The symptoms are most often headaches, leg cramps, fatigue and malaise.

Most people lose weight

during the Daniel Fast. And

many report healings from

diabetes, allergies, arthritis

and cancer.

The Soul - Frequently re-ferred to as "the flesh" in the Bible, the soul is also greatly impacted during the Daniel Fast. The soul is the seat of our emotions, intellect, per-sonality and will. It is in the "soulish realm" where we ex-perience cravings, frustration, anger , and even happy.

During the Daniel Fast, your soul may very well rebel against the dramatic change

in your diet. Experiencing

and winning this battle over the flesh is often one of the most powerful lessons of the Daniel Fast.

The Spirit - Our spirit is that born-again part of us that surrenders to God and then abides with the Father and the Son. Our spirit is filled with the Holy Spirit when we yield to Him.

During the Daniel Fast, we want to put our spirit in charge of the other two parts of us. When our flesh is act-ing out with a craving, we take control of it with our spirit (just as a parent takes control of a rebellious child). Fasting is always coupled with a spiritual goal. So dur-ing this time of fasting, you will want to focus on prayer, study and meditation.

that project that you’ve been struggling with.

10. House - Now is the time to seriously search, and

plan for that house you’ve been desiring, and

needing.

11. Bank Account - Now is the time

to start that savings and build that

bank account to prepare for the needs

that you will encounter in the future.

12. Pay Bills - Now is the time to get caught up on

those long overdo, past, and lingering bills.

13. Pay Tithe - Now is the time to start faithfully

paying your tithe. God has many blessings in

His storehouse that He is waiting to release to

you upon your release to Him.

14. Make that Phone Call - Now is the time to

make that phone call that you’ve been contem-

plating on for a while. You’ll be surprised at the

results you’ll receive.

15. Car - Now is the time to go pick out that new car

that you so desperately need.

16. Say I Love You - Now is the time to break the

silence, and pride. Go ahead and tell them that

you love them; it will destroy that yoke.

Do It Now. Don’t tell the Lord, “Ok, God, I’ll do it

later when I get to it.” That’s like an under aged child

telling their parents that they’ll obey their command

when they get to it, or whenever they get ready.

This kind of attitude calls for disciple. Getting to it

later may be to late, out of season, or time. God says,

“I have spoken, you have heard; move NOW. Do it

Now, and you will receive the ‘Now’ reward, even if

the ‘Now’ reward is to be released or

manifested later. Do it now, for the

blessings which are to come later,”

saith the Lord.

“You’ve been waiting on a mighty move of God in

your life.” Thus saith the Lord, “I’ve been waiting on

a mighty move of faith from you. Step out on faith

and I’ll meet you walking on the water. I won’t let

you sink if you trust in me.” Saith the Lord.”

WHAT IS GOD TELLING YOU TO DO IN THIS SEA-

SON? FIND YOURSELF AND DOING IT!

1. Salvation - Now is the time to surrender your life

to Christ, and receive His salvation.

2. Education - Now is the time to step out and in-

crease your educational status, or finish what

you’ve started.

3. Business - Now is the time to step out and start,

upgrade, or advance that business.

4. Ministry - Now is the time to get busy for the

Lord, and get involved, or excel more in His work.

5. Forgiveness - You’ve been holding that grudge

for long enough; now is the time to let it go, and be

free.

6. Vacation - Now is the time to plan for that vaca-

TEXT: Mark 12:41-44

⦁ What we may consider small, may be big to God, or someone else. God records everything that we do

(ref: Rev. 20:12).

⦁ The widow didn’t care who was looking at her, because she gave from her heart. Give from your heart.

⦁ Some spend the greatest portion of their money on themselves, and give God the mites. God doesn’t

honor this type of giving, because it isn’t honest, neither is it the best that one can give.

TEXT: John 5:19-20,31-37

⦁ In this life, we witness many things, but when we are a witness of Christ, no one can take that from us.

⦁ Are you a witness that God loves you? Are you acquainted with His: deep love, longsuffering, joy, etc.

⦁ Don’t let man tell you what you can’t be. Let God make you what He wants you to be.

⦁ It’s going to always be Jesus, no matter what. Through the Holy Ghost is where our peace lies.

TEXT: Matthew 2:1-2,7-11

⦁ There are different kind of stars: heavenly, geographic, celebrity, and spiritual leaders, but Jesus is the

true star. All other stars must bow to Him.

⦁ God’s people waited and prophesied many years for the Messiah to come. When He arrived, the Magi’s

were led by a natural star to the Spiritual Star.

⦁ Have you seen the true Star? He died to save you. Give Him a gift that is fit for a King. Give Him you.

TEXT: Matthew 2:1-8

⦁ There are so many people in and out of the church who don’t know Jesus. We keep ourselves from get-

ting to know Him because of: lack doubt, and unbelief.

⦁ When we open up our mind and heart to receive God, we can then enter in.

⦁ Jesus is: the light, the Son of God, Messiah, the Good Shepherd, the Lamb of God, the High Priest, the

Redeemer, the Rock, the way, truth and life, the Light of the world, and the mighty God.

as God commanded, we have holes in our pockets.

⦁ When we build God’s house, we glorify Him.

⦁ We cannot serve God and wealth. God wants us

to be blessed with money, but not abuse it.

with Him will change our life forever.

TEXT: Isaiah 45:22-25

⦁ God’s promises are sure, so why do we doubt Him.

We don’t have to be uncertain about God, but our-

selves.

⦁ Faithful and Truth sits upon the white horse.

⦁ You have to hunger and thirst for God to come in.

TEXT: Isaiah 48:17-18

⦁ REMEMBER, it is God who gives us power to get

Laughter is the world’s best medicine. Laughter

can reduce stress, boost your energy level and

strengthen your immune system. Laughter can

benefit both your physical and mental health, as

well as improve your relationships.

PHYSICAL HEALTH BENEFITS:

Laughter decreases stress hormones like cortisol

and increases endorphin, the feel-good chemicals

in your body. These endorphins improve your

mood and even relieve pain. Laughter improves

oxygen flow to the heart, brain and other organs,

lowers blood pressure and improves your mood

while also relieving stress, anxiety and fear. Be-

cause of the release of endorphins, laughter en-

hances your emotional balance and overall sense

of happiness. Laughter and humor help you shift

your perspective and can allow you to see nega-

tive situations in a different light. Laughter helps

trigger positive emotions and remove negative

feelings of anxiety and fear.

MENTAL HEALTH BENEFITS:

Mental health benefits of laughter are numerous.

It almost instantaneously improves your mood

while also relieving stress, anxiety and fear.

THE SOCIAL ASPECT:

Laughter can improve your relationships with

relatives, co-workers, friends and your spouse.

With humor and laughter, you release inhibitions

and express your true feelings more easily.

Laughter can also help you become more confi-

dent and spontaneous.

Whatever you’re doing, you have to STOP …

and take a mini-pause, and maybe if not too

unseemly, and if you’re in the

right place, just go ahead and

ACT LIKE YOU FEEL!

5 And another angel came and stood

at the altar, having a golden censer;

and there was given unto him much

incense, that he should offer it with the

prayers of all saints upon the golden

altar which was before the throne.

4 And the smoke of the incense, which

came with the prayers of the saints,

ascended up before God out of the

angel’s hand.

5 And the angel took the censer, and

filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it

into the earth: and there were voices,

and thunderings, and lightings, and a

an earthquake. Rev. 8:3-5

Where there is smoke, there

is fire, and where there is

fire, something is happening.

After reading the “Prayer

Scripture,” take notice at

how powerful the prayers

of the saints are. When the

fervent prayers of the saints

reach heaven, first, they are

taken by the angel and

mixed with much incense

on the altar in front of the

throne (in the presence of

God). This mixer creates a

certain aroma in the nos-

trils of God, which prompts

Him to move.

Second, the mixer is as-

cended up to God from the

angel’s hand.

Third, the angel fills the

censer with the fire on the

altar. Then God answers

by fire when the angel cast

the fire into the earth.

Thereafter, something pow-

erful happens in the earth.

The power of God begins

to move with the same

voice that spoke in the be-

ginning saying “Let there

be light,” and there was

light. When God speaks, it

commands action.

In the earth, there were

voices (prayers are an-

swered). Thunderings (God

speaks judgment); lighten-

ing (instant miracles oc-

cur), and an earthquake (a

great shifting in the earth).

What kind of prayers can

cause God to move in such

a way? The answer is, fer-

vent prayers of: reverence,

thanksgiving, praise, wor-

ship, repentance, supplica-

tions, and intercession. So

whatever you do, continue

to fervently pray.

God will answer

you.

WHAT HAS THE DEVIL STOLEN FROM YOU OVER THE YEARS? Dearest beloved of the Lord, you are His

delight, and He has declared unto you, that “This Is Your Year Of Restoration.”

On New Year’s Eve, God instructed me (Apostle G. K. Span-McCarty) to minister words to His people

that would enlighten them to Financial Wisdom, and lead them to financial prosperity. The antidote

that He instructed was not complicated, furthermore, it has already been written in His word.

God declared that if we, His people would dare to step out in faith and obey His order for financial

planning through our giving of tithes and offerings, He would restore to His people that which the en-

emy had stolen from them over the years. Additionally, they would have a plenty, praise His name, and

never be ashamed (see: Financial Scripture).

God has declared in this year, ten areas in which He would open the windows of heaven and pour out

His blessings.

However, if we are not obedient to His financial order in giving, He would not be as He has been in the

past by running so quickly to our rescue when we cry out.

As a reminder of the prophetic promise for 2015, you can review God’s instructions on the next page.

25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the cater-pillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Financial freedom can be a reality

when we learn how to exercise disci-

pline and order in the distributions of

our money. Financial freedom doesn’t

come because people make, or receive

mega bucks, but it can come when we

learn how to carefully budget and spend those bucks.

On Sunday, February 8, 2015, I preached a message

entitled “Money Divisions.” This was more of an illustra-

tive message which included an elaboration about

God’s desire to teach His people how to profit, and

walk in the right way which leads to peace and right-

eousness. At your right, I have included the same

“Financial Divisions Plan” illustrated in the message. If

needed, feel free to us it as a guide for your own finan-

cial planning. Adjust it to fit your own lifestyle. Apostle G.K. Span-McCarty
