Subject: Recommendation of Darcy Bullock for the Lyles Professorship

The Engineering Named Professorships Committee unanimously recommends Professor Darcy M.

Bullock for appointment as the Lyles Family Professor in the Lyles School of Civil Engineering.

This recommendation is based on recognition of his role as a leader in traffic signal and probe data

performance measures. Brief comments from some of the committee members below are

indicative of the level of enthusiasm for this candidate:

I strongly support Darcy's named professorship nomination evidenced by his research,

teaching, service and leadership roles to Purdue!
