Jack and Toni Hughes of Spruce Creek are in love with their new kitchen. The beautiful, country white cabinets have a much richer feel than the dated ones they replaced. every single person who entered her home was very courteous and very businesslike. “They were just wonderful,” she says.

“Jim had all-new ideas, suggested a different approach, and saved us a lot of money,” Jack adds. “And the quality didn’t even compare.”

Because the couple saved so much in not tearing out the whole kitchen, they were able to utilize real wood and upgraded to thicker glass shelves and a higher grade faucet. Toni promises to start using the kitchen more now that she’s got the space she’s always wanted since they moved to Florida from Philadelphia almost ten years ago.

“I’m Italian and I know about cooking, but it’s not frequent,” Toni admits, laughing. “This is going to give me the incentive to cook more often.

“The kitchen is the focal point,” she contin-ues. “It’s the first thing everyone sees and it’s where everyone gathers around. The kitchen should be a beautiful space.”

Very busy in retirement, the couple likes spending time on their boat and dancing with other like-minded couples. She’s into art and he’s learning to play the acoustic guitar.

“We just love it here,” Toni says. “It’s just the perfect community to live in. We always have something to do.”
