that the young Prince Saleemfell in love with her. Their love fl ourished in secret.

In time, however, stories of her grace and beauty reached the King himself She was summoned to appear before the royal presence.

As she danced, no one could mistake the looks which passed between her and the young prince. It was as if she danced for him alone.

The king was outraged.The outcome was cruel and tragic. The girl was entombed, walled up in

stone.She was never forgotten by her prince. When Saleem became king
