Day One: Inverness - The gateway to the Highlands Arrive into Inverness International Airport where you’ll be welcomed by your experienced chauffeur guide or collect your car for the duration of your time in Scotland. Drive off into the extraordinary scenery of the Scottish Highlands as you make your way to Wester Ross for your first two nights in Scotland. Settle into your boutique hotel right on the water and then enjoy dinner in the dining room this evening followed perhaps by a drink or two in the bar.

Day Two: Tropical Wester-Ross After a realxed breakfast this morning you can either drive or walk to visit the Inverewe Tropical Gardens. This is a spectacular way to send the morning and a triumph of the unique climate in this corner of Scotland. In the afternoon you can explore the area and perhaps take a private sailing trip around the coast with one of our local experts or play a round of golf on the Gairloch Links course overlooking the wonderful curved beach.

This evening you can choose to dine again at your hotel or perhaps visit one of our favourite local Inns located right on the water for a relaxed evening with great food and maybe a spot of impromptu Scottish music in the bar.

Day Three: Island Hopping Depart your hotel this morning after breakfast and enjoy a great drive north up to the town of Ullapool. It’s then time to take a ferry across to the Isle of Lewis where you’ll arrive in Stornaway. Take a look around the town and perhaps pick up a few provisions as you’ll be looking after yourself at breakfast times for the next couple of days.

Drive south from Lewis and onto the Isle of Harris where you’ll arrive at your private house for the next couple of nights. This is a unique property cut into the landscape and with panoramic views across the most amazing bay. Settle into this cosy spot on the edge of the world and enjoy the silence.

Day Four: Exploring Harris Enjoy a day at leisure with access to many unpopulated beaches where you can walk for miles and simply enjoy the scenery and isolation. You could also be joined by one of our local guides who will take you on a tour of the island and explain about the history, the flora and fauna, and the best spots for great photographs. Dine at a local restaurant this evening or we can arrange for dinner to be brought to you – it’s your choice. Enjoy watching the amazing sunsets from your huge bay window.

Day Five: Onto the Isle of Skye Depart this morning after a relaxing breakfast. You’ll drive to Tarbert and perhaps pick up some of the famous Harris Tweed on the way. At Tarbert you’ll board a ferry which is bound for Uig on the north part of the Isle of Skye. On arrival you can head for Dunvegan Castle for a look around this historic castle in context of Skye’s history and infamous clan feuding.

From here you’ll drive to a remote first class restaurant with rooms. Settle into your suite and then prepare for an amazing dinner with extraordinary freshly caught seafood.

Day Six: Eilean Donan & Loch Ness After breakfast this morning check-out and travel south along the small roads of the Isle of Skye towards the Kyle of Lochalsh. You’ll head across the bridge connecting Skye with the mainland and then onto Eilean Donan – the most photographed castle in Scotland.

After your visit drive north heading for Loch Ness and a private boat cruise on this famous stretch of water. It’s then on to your hotel which has a Michelin starred restaurant, for your final evening. Enjoy fabulous service and comfort in the Georgian boutique hotel – a fitting end to your time in Scotland.

Day Seven: Departure Check out of your hotel this morning after breakfast and it’s a short drive to Inverness Airport for your onward flight.
