Review of the Related Literature A number of Studies on the Well Being of the Employees were reviewed

Need of the study

•Studies have dealt with the well being of the employees as leading to job satisfaction, in relation to gender differences that are perceived in the workplace and the organisational structure influencing the well being of the employees.

•Studies suggest that the well-being of employees should be in the best interest of the employer.

•Present study is a small attempt to identify the Well-Being of the Academic Faculty of the College of Education

Findings

1. There was no significant difference found in the well-being state of B.Ed. college teachers on the basis of their teaching experiences.2. There is no significant difference found in the well-being state of D.T.Ed. college teachers on the basis of their teaching experiences.

Discussion•Psychologically, opportunities were given for personal growth and aspiration•They were well engaged in the an the institutional activities irrespective of their experience•Social adaptability is found more in the women
