A Photographer’s Introduction

History:

Picked up my first camera, a Canon Rebel XT in 2005.

Been a Canon shooter ever since!Currently shooting with a Canon 40D

and 5D Mark II.Though my heart is in sports shooting, I

tend to shoot from a photojournalistic point of view in any given assignment, including portraiture.

Learning to Shoot:

Began by shooting things around the house including pets, furniture, and family members..

The toughest thing about learning to shoot in my early years was the controlling of exposure using aperture.

Currently:

I’m currently a freelance shooter for Inside Business and The Virginian Pilot, as well as shooting for Norfolk State’s Sports Information Department as well as the Spartan Echo.

Goals for 2010:

To become the best collegiate-level shooter in Virginia.

Triple Adeptive Photography’s client list.Travel more than 8 hours one way for

another shoot.Be able to legitimately claim over 20k in

revenue for Adeptive by the end of the year.
