Traffic Department, represented by the Traffic Awareness Department, participated in the (Learning Space Hackathon 2020) events organized by the Ministry of Education at the Teacher Training Institute in Ajman for two days in a row. It is a software race with the participation of 60 male and female students nationwide with a view to achieving sustainability in different environments, by proposing and implementing new and innovative ideas that enhance advanced electronic practices to achieve sustainability by taking advantage of natural energy sources.

A traffic track in the JSS School

An awareness-

raising workshop for mothers at

Al-Zahra Hospital

Traffic Awareness Section participated in the events organized by the International School of Choueifat at Al-Sufouh in late February. The participation included attending the activities of the World Heritage Day 2020 with a pavilion that included many awareness leaflets and publications addressed to students and parents. In addition to forming a team inside the school within the traffic awareness teams established by the Traffic Awareness Section in many Dubai schools, the school awareness team launched its activities by designing, printing and distributing brochures with a bouquet received by parents.

Traffic Department organized an awareness-

raising workshop for mothers and guardians at

Al-Zahra Hospital, which included distributing

flyers and a draw for a child’s car seat. In addition

to providing advices related to the safety of

newborns and how to choose the appropriate

seat for the child in the vehicle.

The “Smart Safety Bus” program organized many awareness activities in Dubai schools, which included Ahmed bin Rashid School for Basic Education, Mohammed Noor School for Basic Education and Al Ibda Model School for Girls. The activities also included Al-Jahez School for Basic Education. The “Smart Safety Bus” program focuses on teaching and training students the correct traffic safety concepts and behaviors, with smart programs and technologies available on the bus.

Traffic Awareness Department, in cooperation with Tristar, organized awareness activities at the JSS school, which included a traffic track, in which students were trained on the rules of crossing the road and respecting the right of pedestrians, the main elements contained in the road and the meanings of signs and traffic lights.

Roasted Vegetables

Dear Friends, Today I will serve a healthy plate of

various roasted vegetables

Ingredients are: 2 Zucchini, 2 red

capsicum, 2 tomatoes, 2 carrots, 1 eggplant, an

onion, olive oil, salt & pepper, lemon, garlic,

vinegar and cumin powder

Chop vegetables in slices, then season

with lemon, vinegar and cumin

Put little of olive oil in a roasting pan and

put all vegetables in it then put in the oven

After 20 minutes, we get a delicious

plate of roasted vegetables ...
