Speakers Instructions: IMPORTANT

Discussion is a major distinguishing feature of this small forum – please facilitate this with your content and DO NOT exceed the time allotted for your talk!! Keynote lectures:

• will introduce the topic • discuss the state of the art • point to future pathways

Keynote lectures will be cut off 10 minutes before your time is over to allow at least 10 minutes for discussion! Short talks (15 or 20 minutes, minus 5 min discussion!):

• will not introduce the topic (this will be done by the key-note speaker) • will commence with an aim • will present new research data or hypotheses and their implications

Talks will be cut off after 5 minutes before their scheduled end to allow at least 5 minutes for discussion!

“Sorry I gave such a long talk, I did not have time to prepare a short one”:

Not an excuse!

MAKE SURE THE ALARM DOES NOT GO OFF,

MAKING AN ABRUPT END TO YOUR TALK

Scheduled presentations must be made by Powerpoint presentation. There will be an LCD beamer and laptop PC available to this end, and we will arrange that your presentation will be put onto the laptop before the lecture, preferably on Monday during Registration. In addition to the scheduled talks, there will be an opportunity for unscheduled off-the-floor presentations to be arranged with the session chair on site.

Poster presenters Instructions: see below, after the Program!
