Communion/Lord’s Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to His table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it before passing it along.

Offering In all of our services a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary.

Helpful Info

Our MOPS is starting up again. For moms with pre-schoolers who want to meet other moms, join us the first and third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 AM. Childcare is provided. We had a great first meeting last week getting to know everyone, registering and just having a good time.

We are excited about our Sept.16 meeting. Our guests will be Steve and Annette Economides, nationally recognized personal finance speakers and NY Times best selling authors of three books. They are helping families everywhere budget their money the right way. We would love to have you join us! — Nicole Moran

Who: Moms with any child in Kindergarten and younger. However, all MOPS and former MOPS are welcome at play dates, moms’ nights out, and meetings. Bring a friend if you would like.What: Brunch, chatting, learning, small groups, crafts, outings!

She has a Bachelors degree in Applied Voice with a minor in Choral Music from University of Illinois, with a Masters of Sacred Music from Concordia University. Sherry is very excited to become a part of Chaparral and is eager to get to know our wonderful community.  Please make her feel welcome and at home!

Saguaro Club Potluck Luncheon September 12 at 11:30 AM East Hall

Another year of activities will be off and running at our “kickoff” luncheon. The main course, bbq pork sandwiches, will be provided. Please bring a salad or dessert to share.

Welcome to our NEW

Volunteers Needed for Food Drive

Each year, during Yom Kippur, we help our neighbors, Congregation Beth Israel, with their annual High Holy Days Food Drive. This takes place on Wednesday, September 23, right here in our parking lot. We need volunteers to help load donations onto the ICM Food Bank truck at three different times.
