Communion/Lord’s Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to His table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it before passing it along.

Offering In all of our services a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary.

Nursery We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the north side of the lobby. Please see an usher for directions to check-in.

Youth Pool Party!!It's that time of year again. Summer is upon us and with warmer temperatures come pool parties!

We are looking for families who are interested in hosting pool parties this summer. If you and/or your family want to host a fun group of students for an evening, email Nic at nic.glyshaw@chaparral.org

Pantry needs are: Envelopes or pop-top tuna/meats, pop-top canned meals, veggies, tomatoes, beans, fruit cups or canned fruit, rice/noodle packets or sides, crackers, instant potatoes, breakfast bars, juice boxes or pouches.

Steve and Katherine Jones have been living in Turkey since 2000. They work alongside IDEAS (International Development and Education Associates) which is a non-profit humanitarian and development organization. Their mission

is to demonstrate love, serving forgotten and overlooked people by meeting physical, intellectual and spiritual needs.

Steve teaches English to professionals and works with the nearby University. Katherine has been teaching English in a nearby Turkish private school, and enjoys the additional role of mentoring teachers. Due to the influx of Syrian refugees that have entered their city of Kayseri, she has taken on the task of helping these families get settled, meeting many of their basic needs and finding housing. She is now turning her attention to helping prepare these children for entering Turkish schools.
