Subvariation, #M5 eine 2. Variation/1. Subvariation. Im Oktober 2016 konnte #M4 befreit und nach Deutsch-land gebracht werden. Dieser frühe RNMA ist während der Ausstellung des 8. FROCS-Treffens zu besichtigen.

For reasons unknown the digits 0 and 9 of the visible serial numbers are over-stamped with an 8, the breech side of the cylinder is marked #888887.

Subvariation #12036 bis #12046: dokumentiert in diesem Seriennummernbe-reich sind bisher ausschließlich die vier Revolver #12036, #12038, #12040 und #12046 aus 1972. Sie teilen die gleiche Anomalie, d.h. die Stempelung der Trommel auf der Rückseite mit 136, 138, 140 und 146, nicht aber mit 038 etc., bzw. 38 usw.). Es handelt sich um die erste Charge dieser Variante im 12-tausender Seriennummernbereich. Alle anderen dokumentierten RNMA 4/2 haben die übli-che Trommelstempelung.

sub-variation #12036 to #12046: only documented in this serial number range are the four revolvers #12036, #12038, #12040 and #12046 from 1972. They all share the same anomaly, i.e. the breech side of their cylinders is stamped with 136, 138, 140 and 146, instead of either 038 etc. and/or 38 etc. as one would expect. This is the first batch of this variant produced in the 12 thousand serial number range. All other RNMAs 4

nd sub-variation have the

"regular" digits stamped on their cylinders.

☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ RNMA's 7. Variation #12300 bis #12307: dokumentiert in diesem Seriennummernbereich sind ausschließlich die fünf Revolver #12300, #12301, #12305, #12306 und #12307 aus 1972. Es sind die ersten Exemplare dieser seltenen Variante. Auch hier finden wir eine atypische Stempelung der Trommel auf der Rückseite, nämlich 100, 101, 105, 106 und 107, nicht aber 300, 301, 305, 306 und 307, was zu erwarten wäre. Alle späteren dokumentierten RNMA's 7. Variation ha-ben die üblichen Ziffern auf den Trommeln.

variation #12300 through #12307: only the five pistols #12300, 12301, #12305, 12306 and #12307 from 1972 are documented in this serial number range. They represent the first specimens of these rare vari-ants. Again they share one anomaly regarding the digits on the breech side of their cylinders. They are stamped 100, 101, 105, 106 and 107, but not 300, 301, 305, 306 and 307 as one would expect. All RNMA 7

mented with the "regular" cylinder digits.

Subvariation mit 5,5"- anstelle eines 8"-Laufs. Theorie: bei den beiden Waffen mag es sich ursprüng-lich um das RNMA 6. Variation 3. Subvariation-Set #13595 gehandelt haben. FAUL fertigte diese Sets auf Wunsch von Harlos (= RNMA 6. Variation/2. Subvaria-tion mit nummerngleichem Wechsellauf 5,5“). Aus un-bekanntem Grund wurde der 8“-Revolver vom 5,5“-Extralauf getrennt. Abverkäufe dieser RNMA 6/3-Sets waren bekanntlich gering. Es ist also denkbar, dass Harlos den 5,5"-Lauf zurück an FAUL gab, die ihn zum Marshal, damals sehr gesucht, komplettierten. Unter diesem Aspekt könnte irgendwann ein weiterer RNMA 6. Variation/2. Subvariation #13612 auftau-chen, d.h. mit der gleichen Seriennummer wie der be-reits dokumentierte Marshal 1/2 #13612?!

#13595. FAUL made these sets at the request of Harlos (= RNMA 6

nd sub-variation with matching

5,5" extra barrel). For reasons unknown the 8" barreled pistol and the 5,5" extra barrel were separated. We know the sales of these RNMA 6/3 sets were low. Hence, it is possible that Harlos returned the 5,5" barrel to FAUL. FAUL completed the barrel to a Marshal be-cause Marshals were in high demand back then. Looking at the find from this angle another RNMA 6

Gravierte Centaure RNMA 5. Variation/1. Subvariation #8371: diesen im Kundenauftrag gravierten Centaure, lt. Seriennummer aus 1969, bot im April 2017 ein deutscher Händler bei Egun an. Die Gravur ähnelt der De Luxe-Werksgravur, ist aber flacher angelegt. Könnte eine Arbeit vom Roth-enburger Waffeneck in Rothenburg sein.

man dealer offered this custom engraved Centaure in April 2017 at Egun auction house. She is from 1969. This engraving looks similar to the factory de luxe style but has lesser depths. Possibly a job executed by Rothenburger Waffeneck, Rothenburg.
