My College Magazine

Me and my group were given the task to create a college magazine in order for us to get a feel of what need to be put in a magazine when it comes to making our own. Looking back on this task I feel like I have learned a lot about Photoshop editing to give my magazine the best impacted.

I also learned about the importance of a good layout to my magazine to give a clear understanding to the reader what my magazine is about along whit photos to suit this. From this experience I have complied this to my magazine and developed it along the way to create a final product.

I like the contrast between the black and white images and bright colours from the magazine so I have tried to cooperate that with my own work.

I like the contrast between the black and white images and bright colours from the magazine so I have tried to cooperate that with my own work.

I think that I have improved in some areas since I first started for instance my Photoshop skills. At the beginning of the course I didn’t even know how to open a page of photo shop and took a stab in the dark on trying to get my image n that page. But from then to now I think I have improved my skills well at an average level on Photoshop. And from this I have improved and improved my work over the months.

From my preliminary task I have improved on my photography skills well along with my understanding of lighting and angles to create the type of image I want. From just having the same angle and shot at the start then developing that into a mid close up and taking the image on a angle it came really break up the magazine.

In an overall evaluation I think I have developed and improved well over the past few months to meet this courses standards.
