6TH JUNIOR – VIRTUAL CLASS N°1
Dear families,
In our first classes of 6th grade we reviewed the contents studied on previous years.
Therefore, you can use the platform ‘lichess’ to practise the movements and
captures, the castling and the queening, which were learned during the first three
years of primary school.
Movements and captures with the pieces: https://lichess.org/learn#/
Castling: https://lichess.org/learn#/14
Queening: https://lichess.org/learn#/6
4th and 5th grade contents will also be reviewed.

- ¿Which pieces can make a double attack?
All the pieces can make a double attack.
Let’s take a look at some examples:
The knight moves to “e7” (Ce7+) and attacks the king (check) and the queen at
the same time.
The rook moves to “h4” (Th4+) and attacks the king (check) and the knight at the
same time.

These activities will prove very useful for the children, as well as for the adults who
wish to share this learning experience with them.
Do not hesitate to send your concerns to [email protected]
I hope you enjoy the activities!
See you!
