1 5S 5S is quite possibly the most often lean continuous improvement tool, method or system of tools and methodologies that I have taught. Over the last twenty I have ran easily over 50 but less 100 training workshops in 5S alone. As with all my training I use the group sequence learning technique. That is learning as a group of people in a team setting utilizing adult motivation learning characteristics and using auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning styles. ‘I hear – I forget, I see – I remember, I do – I understand.’ What you cannot appreciate by just viewing these slides from my website is my dialogue as I explain which slide in each module. All my training always involves application exercises. NO DEATH BY POWERPOINT!
