Bibles Needed Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare is now in need of Bi-bles. Last month there were over 30 people admitted to the floors and many often come unprepared for what could be a lengthy stay in the hospital. You have been so kind by generously donating rosaries and while we continue to need rosaries the need for Bi-bles has grown. The Bibles do not have to be new, they can be used. If you can leave them at the back of the church they will be picked up and brought to the hospital.

New Years Day - Solemnity of Mary January 1, 2020

Many Thanks Vacation time: Since I will be away on holidays between January 6 - 24th. 2020, there will be no weekday mass-es celebrated in Harrow or Kingsville. Fr. Bob Champagne will cover the weekend Masses of January 11/12 and 18/19th. I extend my thanks to Father Gary Goyeau for having helped me with the Christmas Masses. Father Gary was re-cently the pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Lakeshore and since Father O'Brien is no longer covering when I am away, Fr. Gary accepted my request to help out so I could book two Masses for each parish at Christmas. Emergencies and funerals will be covered by our local parishes. You may want to check their daily Mass schedules for the time I am away. St. Anthony's Parish thanks Mike Smith of Gerald A Smith Funeral Home for donating the 2020 Calendars. Thanks Mike, much appreciated. Feel free to take home a copy. My thanks and appreciation to my replacements! ~Fr. Rick Janisse

Dear Parishioners, We take this opportunity to express my thanks, and that of the pastoral team, for your many expressions of kindness shown over the Christmas season. Everything from your Christmas cards, personal and monetary gifts as well your verbal and spiritual offerings - all are greatly appreciated. We also extend thanks and gratitude to all those who support our parish cluster by means of your financial dona-tions and through your response to the many outreach programs of the parish (ie. Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Christmas giving appeal, the numerous special collections for crisis’s that come up throughout the year). Your gen-erosity of service and your gifts are greatly noticed and appreciated. Thank you! A special note of thanks to all our minsters of the altar and music. If you are a regular attender, a visitor or a few times a year visitor, remember your are one of us and you are always welcome in the Lord’s house. Christ came to bring peace on earth, bring that peace into your hearts and homes and those of all your family members. You and all your loved ones, living and deceased will be remembered in our celebrations of the Eucharist throughout this Christmas season. Christmas Blessings, now and in the New Year.

~Father Rick Janisse, Deacon Dennis Kosokowsky, Deacon Anthony Rebkowec, Dianne O’Neill and Staff
