Monday 7th August 2017 Term 3 Week 4
Welcome to Week 4, and what a chilly start to the week!
What a fabulous day we had to celebrate Education Week last Tuesday. We had a large crowd of parents and relatives come to school to help us celebrate. Classrooms were open to visitors and our Book Fair was a great success. Parents and relatives enjoyed a picnic lunch with students and stayed on to support students in their Skip-a-thon. Thank you for your support. The Skip-a-thon raised $4835 and the Book Fair raised over $4,000 for our school. What a tremendous effort.
Rug up and enjoy your week! Judy Miller Assistant Principal.

Woolworths Earn & Learn is back and it is now easier than ever to earn valuable resources for our school.
It's simple to participate. From Wednesday 26th July Tuesday 19th September 2017,
when you shop at Woolworths you can collect Woolworths Earn & Learn Stickers
from the checkout operator or through an online order and place them on a Woolworths Earn & Learn Sticker
Sheet. There’ll be one Woolworths Earn & Learn Sticker for every $10 spent (excluding liquor, tobacco,
and gift cards). Once completed, simply place the Sticker Sheet in the Collection Box, either at the
Front Office at school or at Temora Woolworths.
A BIG thank you to Mrs Marnie Meacham for donating beautiful “fiddle mits” for our
Sensory Room.
BOOK FAIR
Our Education Week Book Fair was an AMAZING SUCCESS!
Thank you to everyone who came and supported our fair. We sold well over $4000
worth of books, posters and novelty items. All of the rewards points will now be used to
obtain new resources for all subjects plus some class sets of books for the children to enjoy.
THANK YOU
EDUCATION WEEK CELEBRATIONS
Thanks!!
Thank you to everyone who found sponsors or donated money to the Skip-a-thon. All proceeds will go towards playground improvements.
On the day, we announced that we had made a profit of about $4200. As the money has continued to come in, we now have a profit of $4835.
All students had fun joining in the skipping throughout the afternoon and received an ice-block and a skipping rope for their efforts.
Congratulations to Grace Morrell, Emily Jordan-Downes and Cruze Scealy who each received a gift voucher at
Sport Spot for raising the most money. Also, thank you to everyone who supported the Education Week lunch last Tuesday. The P & C were able to
provide some different lunch options and made $800 profit.
