DON’T BE LATE If you exceed your 4 hours, you will lose 10 points for every minute or part thereof.

Plus we will think you really have been taken by a werewolf!

Teams more than 30 minutes late will lose all their points.

REMINDER OF SOME IMPORTANT ROGAINING RULESMagnetic compasses, conventional watches and the event map are the only navigational aids allowed.

GPS’s, GPS watches, fitbits etc. are all prohibited unless sealed in an official SARA tamper proof bag.

Mobile phones are allowed by SARA for photos and emergency calls only.

Team members must remain within earshot at all times.

Competitors shall carry a whistle at all times whilst on the course. In an emergency a competitor shall give a series of short blasts.

Any team hearing a distress signal must abandon their course and help in any way needed.

Cross fences at solid posts or between wires. Leave gates as you find them.

All teams are required to fill in the intention sheet at each control. Failure to do so can result in loss of points for that control.

Competitors shall not discard litter or light fires at the event site nor smoke on the course or chase the roaming zombies.

SAFETY

This is a night-time Halloween inspired event and things will go bump in the night. The setters have planned this event to push your mind to new possible boundaries and yes, there will be creepy crawlies in the forest for your discovery.

If you are in immediate distress, blow your whistle in ‘short bursts’ and this is your ‘safe’ signal. All participants MUST come to your aid and assist you.

General ‘screams’ of delight will be disregarded and be taken as being part of the fun of the Halloween themed event.
