It all happens on Halloween night. The moon is full. It is foggy and cold. All the children are getting ready. They are wearing their Halloween costumes. There is a witch, a doctor, a ghost, a princess, a cowboy and many other costumes.

They are going trick-or-treating. As they walk they see a tall WALL. They go over the wall. They see a mysterious haunted house. The brave children enter the house.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!” They all scream.They see an evil wizard, a wicked witch on abroomstick and a spooky ghost in the hall. Thezombies lock the door of the house.

They are in danger. They are scared.

They walk into the living. There is a big bloodycoffin in the centrε of the living room. TheSkull king comes out of the coffin. He has adead owl on his shoulder. The king has a saw inhis hand and a pumpkin crown on his head. Thechildren are afraid. There is too much evil in this house. The skeleton army is

coming out of the basement.

All the children decide to stand in a circle, holdtheir hands and say the magic words “Abracadabra wizzy woo please help us fairy Loo”. A lovely fairy Loo appears in the house. She uses her magical spell and all the evil creatures disappear. She saves the children andbrings them back home to Wizzville.

All the wizards arrive at the new planet on 31st October. The planet is dark. The first steps are difficult. “Does anybody live here? We have to find a place for our new city”, says the Main Wizard. “Let’s go

forward!” After some time the wizards stop in front of the Wall. It is made of grey stone and it is very cold. It is very high, too. Suddenly, a strange noise makes the wizards raise their heads. They see the Moon and a witch on a broomstick, who flies over the wall. Next to the witch flies a coffin with two ghosts on it. The wizards see a note on the Wall. It says, “Welcome to our New Year Party for ghosts, witches, bats, cats and owls. Bring your mysterious horror stories with you.Visit our restaurant in the Haunted house. Sing your favourite song in our karaoke bar. Wizards are welcome, too.” “Oh, Halloween is theirNew Year! Let’s go tothe party and ask theghosts for a place forour new town. We arenot afraid of them asour magic powerdefends us.”

Three days before Halloween day, spaceships from different countries take off from Spain, Croatia, Romania,Poland, Latvia and Greece. All the wizards go to the blue planet.They arrive there on Halloween night with abeautiful full moon.They are happy because they want to create a new city in the planet.But first of all, they want to celebrate Halloween and they decide to put on their spooky fancy dresses .All the wizards are ghosts, monsters, zombies, witches on their broomsticks...

They walk around the streets, all is in silence and all the streets are empty!!! Suddenly they find a Wall at the end of one narrow street. There is a house next to the wall, it seems a haunted house!!!But in the wall there's a strange thing. It seems like a button. They touch it and a secret door appears. They go through the door and they notice they are inside thehaunted house. It's dark.All the wizards begin to be a little bit scared .They hear strange voices, some people screaming...They believe they are in danger!!!But...two minutes later...they listen ...HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!WELCOME TO THE BLUEPLANET!!!!WE CELEBRATE A SCARYPARTY!!!Then a lot of people appear ,theydance and they are happy.Later a terrible mysterious bluecriature goes next to the wizardsand he says with a wickedvoice :”Watch out dear wizards!!To build a new city in the blueplanet is difficult and dangerous!!!Bye, bye!!!Happy Halloween!!”

O N H A L L O W E E N N I G H T by the Gold Wizards of Giurgiu, Romania

It is a spooky Halloween night when all wizards arrive on the Blue Planet. Owls can be heard ceaselessly and the moon seems even bigger and brighter than other times. Wandering around to find a good place for their towns, the orange wizards hear a blood-curdling scream behind a wall. The green and brown wizards come closer wondering for what reason a wall is there. The silver and gold wizards touch it andall of a sudden the scream stops .The yellow ones begin to tremble and the purple wizards together with the red ones gather around the eldest wizard. He seems to know something. They find out that behind the mysterious wall there are herds of monsters, wicked witches, ghosts, werewolves, skeletons, mummies and demons. Even a coffin where Dracula lies with an eye half opened! And all of them live in a haunted house locked with one thousand diamond, silver and gold padlocks. Everyone listens to the elder wizard in horror! They sense the danger behind the wall. He lets them know it will not be easy if they want to build something on that planet. Monsters do not allow them to make anything, not even a house. An ancient curse rules the Blue Planet. Out of the blue a witch on a shabby broomstick whizzes past their heads and a redwizard blacks out. It is black and white for everyone that the threat is real. Three

gold wizards hurry to help the red one and bring him back into his senses with their magic wands. In the dark, an invisibleclock strikes midnight. A monstrous noise begins to rise from the back of the wall. Everyone notices the tone of the voice is like no other they know. Then they hear what the voice vocalizes, moaning in such a pathetic horrible way, filled with pain and suffering. They marvel

at the tone of the voice. It is different and seems to come from everywhere at once. Then, just when they think they cannot take any more, it goes from the horrible moan to an insane, maniacal laugher. “You don't have any success unless you put your forces together!”. It is absolutely horrifying. Then it goes back down to a moan, then back to a laugh, then back to a moan, and then it stops. All of them look at each other open-mouthed. The elderly wizard says nothing but raises his wand up. All the wizards do the same. Above the myriad wands, arainbow appears. Inamazement they all look upto the sky. It isn’t only blueanymore. It is made of tintsof orange with green,reddish and purple. Thereare also shades of silver,gold, blended with tones ofbrown and yellow. One ofthe green wizards yells“There is no wall anymore!”.They look in front of them!No obstacle anymore! Nomonsters! Only the goldenopportunity to begin buildingtheir neighborhoods!

It is October 31st, the Halloween! A group ofwizards are ready to build their new city. Butthey don't know that this place is spooky! Theystart walking and they see a ghost on the top ofa very high long wall. The ghost tells them:“Don't move or your life is in danger!” And thenit disappears! Some wizards are very scared butsome wizards are brave and try to break the wallbut they can't break it!

So they start walking along the wall to find asecret passage. Suddenly they see a coffin andsmoke coming out of it. They stop frightened! Avampire comes out of it and they scream!“Aaaargh!” “Go away or you'll die!” the vampiretells them. “This place is not for you!!”

That moment the clouds go away and the wizards see the full moon. A mysterious woman walks slowly towards them. They can't see her face but she tells them: “When you see a witch on a broomstick up in the sky in front of the full moon, sing together “Abracadabra,Wall, Wall disappear, wicked creatures go away, let us build our new city, Da boo dee da boo dae!”

The wizards wait and when they see the witch on her broomstick up in the sky, they sing the magic spell! Suddenly the wall disappears and the sun appears in the sky! The fields

are green, the flowers bloom and everything is beautiful! The birds fly in the sky and the wizards are very happy!

They start building their city so they can't see a haunted house up on a hill far away in the shadow of a cloud. Only an owl is trying to warn them about that house but they can't understand it! They are very busy and very happy with their new life!

Wizzyland is our planet and Wizzville is our town. Itis 31st October. The Holloween party is our firstparty here. There are ghosts and spooky creatures.The wizards want to play games. Orange Wizards say: “Let’s play “Guess who is behindthe wall”!” Green Wizards say: “Nooo, let’s play “Follow thewicked witch on a broomstick”!” Silver Wizards say:

“Let’s play “A visitto the hauntedhouse”!But the Gold Wizards want to play “Open the coffin”. Finally we agree to play “The mysterious pumpkin haunt”. I, Wizard Stefan, go to find the most beautiful pumpkin in the garden of the haunted house. The haunted house has three doors PAST, FUTURE, and PRESENT. I am curiousand I open the first door – the PAST. I am a littlescared. I see a very big owl. I close the door quickly. I open the second door – the FUTURE. I

can see a big yellow moon and I can hear a scream. I am in danger. I close it too. I go to the third door - the PRESENT. I open it and I can see a coffin and a very, very beautiful pumpkin in the coffin. It starts to laugh and I am scared. I run into the garden. I grab a pumpkin, a little one and I run back. “I am the first!!!!!” says Stefan.

“Good job, Stefan!” say the Wizards. “You are the winner!”

Today is the day!!! The wizards are going to take off and go to the Blue Planet.When they land there, they find a problem: a big and invisible wall which doesn´t let them go inside the planet. Oh, what a problem!!The wizards can see through the wall ghosts and witches on their broomsticks. It is really spooky!However, thegroup tries to lookfor an entrance inthat wall...and theyfind it!So, they walk for along time, and cansee a strange andmysterious house.

They think it would be a nice idea to rest there. Butwhen they arrive at the house, they realise it is ahaunted house.The moon is grey, so it says that something terrible isgoing to happen at night.The wizards knock at the door and a wicked wizardcomes to meet them. He has a strange pet: an owl.He seems to be very nice, and invites them to spendthe night in a bedroom.The wizards come into the room and realise they are

locked there. Oh, they beginto scream!! They are indanger!!!At the same time they cansee there is a brown coffinthere. They decide to openit with fear. What asurprise!: a ghost haunts andgives them a mysteriousmap. What is it for???????

It is Halloween today. The wizards from different countries set out for a new blue planet. The moon shinesand they can hear terrifyingsounds in the distance. The planet looks spooky. The wizards don’t know anything about the life on it. They get panicked. It can be dangerous to stay on this planet. There may be

witches on broomsticks, some strange wild animals or horrifying ghosts. Suddenly, a big, red wall appears in front of them. The wizardsare terrified. Their bodies tremble with fear and excitement. They hold each other’s hand and feel some strange shiver flowing through their bodies. They utter some words to open the gate in the wall and then they can see a haunted, old wooden house, some strange looking tall trees without leaves and scary birds sitting in them. The wizards start screaming, one of them shouts for help. Everyone wants to run away and go back to theEarth. But they

can’t move because some horrible ghosts withpiercing eyes don’t want to let them go. Then all thewizards start fighting. The elderly wizard utterssome magical words and after that the wall begins totremble and it collapses. The ghosts ran away withfear. They disappear soon. On the other side of theruined wall the wizards can see a wonderful world.Finally, they decide to stay on the Blue planet andbuild a city there.

These stories were written by the pupils who partcipated in WALL etwinning project during the Halloween celebration of 2014.

Each school wrote a story using certain words in their texts and trying to explain the name 'WALL' of their project.

When all the stories were ready, each partner drew pictures for a different story and not their own.

Then the partners voted and chose one of the stories, whichbecame the first chapter of a new story, 'The Other Side of the Wall'. That was the story of the wizards' beginning of their new life! Three more chapters were written after thisone.
