– Tall centrepieces, ceiling, balloons
• Place all essential décor above eye height
• No ceilings/very high ceilings pose challenges

• Combination of shapes – rectangles, triangles,
circles, boxes, cones, balls, tubes etc• Fabric, trussing/scaffolding, air tubes, lighting –
create a colourful sculpture

• To outline, separate an item from the surroundingspace – i.e. car
• Abstract, leads our eye from one point to the next

• Value – the relative lightness or darkness of a certain
area within a space. Also the amount of light in a certainarea
