Introduction to your technology?

Answer 3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the entire object is created.

How was it invented?

Answer Chuck hull invented the 3d printing. He is the inventor of the solid imaging process known as stereolithography (3D Printing), the first commercial rapid prototying technology, and the STL file format. He made on more than 60 U.S. patents as well as other patents around the world in the fields of ion optics andrapid prototying. He was inducted into the National inventers Hall of frame in 2014.

What applications (uses) are there now for

your specific technology?

Answer One of the most important applications of 3D printing is in the medical industry. If I want to make a silicone shoes, 3D printing can make it possible. But I need to have material, application foe design shape of shoes and machines for use in 3D printer.

What are the possibilities in the

future?

Answer Things that are printing from 3D will look real like things that made from factory or by hand made, they will have more details and beautiful. People who have 3D printing can have everything that they want.

In the news?NewsMakerBot Files Patent for 3D Printing Objects Larger than Printer Volume

MakerBot has been receiving some flak recently regarding the patents they’ve filed for 3D printer mods.  Though it hasn’t received the same negative attention as some of the others, one patent application recently uncovered by the Stratasys-owned printer manufacturer is worth noticing.  In March, a patent application was filed by the company was published that outlined a method for 3D printing “an object larger than the build volume of a three-dimensional printer.”
