Principal’s Report
CONGRATULATIONS to our great community response to our first Fathering Project Night, Bangers & Bingo! What a wonderful sight to see so many fantastic male role models that are there for our students and willing to walk beside them along their learning journey! Thank you to the Champion dads helping Mr Arrandale lead the night and the project. It was a fun night and I think Mr Arrandale has found his calling. Well Done BBPS!
Leadership by the River Wishing our student leaders, as they represent our school for their first time, an inspiring day at the Leadership by the River program this Thursday at Club Menai. Working with like minds they will embrace and share innovative ideas and return confident to continue to lead in our great school. I look forward to hearing about your Leadership Project for BBPS !
Stage 3 Camp Wishing Stage 3 an amazing time at camp heading to our National Capitol next week. We look forward to the photos and sharing of stories as you travel the icons of Canberra and learn all about Federal Gov-ernment. Stage 3, look after Mrs Harvey and Mr Arrandale!
Think U Know what your child sees online? To assist you to gain a better understanding of Cyber Safety, increase your knowledge re social media and to be familiar with apps that students may access online we are running a Parent Forum on Tuesday 27th March at 6.30pm in the school library. This forum will be facilitated by the Australian Federal Police and is a great program called THINK U KNOW! Any student using a mobile device with access to the internet is in need of knowing how to use it safely. This initiative also supports Bullying NO Way, which we endorse daily in our school. We will be acknowledging the National Day for Bullying on Friday 16th March to support further educating of our students to be safe, respectful learners in all they participate in.

Fathering Project - Bangers and Bingo
What an amazing turnout! We had over 275 people crammed wall to wall in our school hall for our very first Fathering Project event – Bangers and Bingo. A huge thank you to our Champion Dads who supported me with the organisation, cooked the BBQ and helped with serving food throughout the evening. It was amazing to have so many of our male role models participating and enjoying the fun. So many lovely connections were creat-ed and reinforced as you all bonded over a simple game of Bingo. A special thank you to our teachers who participated in the event and supported me with the running of each game. Look out for advertising about our second event in Term Two.

Evie, Alfie and Selene each participated in a step of the process. Once the warm dough was created the children were free to explore the texture of the dough and manipulate it into different shapes and objects.
