We are beginning to take registrations for the 2010 -2011 school

year for children seeking Faith Formation in ALL grades. We celebrate First Reconciliation and First Communion in 2 grade and Confirma-tion in 8 grade Children who are seeking to celebrate any sacrament must be enrolled for two years. Our religion is so rich we could never share what Jesus teaches in only two years. It is very important that we all continue to form ourselves in our faith. Children should be en-rolled yearly from grades K-8. We also offer a Youth Ministry program for those in High School. Please come to the Faith Formation of-fice for registration forms. We were reminded this Easter that we are called to serve as Jesus did. He reminded us as he washed the feet of his apostles. How are you serving God – and his people – your commu-nity? The Children’s Faith Formation Office is seeking volunteers to help form our children in their faith as catechists or assistant catechists. We are also in need of office assistance, hall monitors, parking lot monitors, and day care. Training and all materials are provided. Please call Dolly at 630-832-5514 today. Ya estamos tomando las inscripciones para el año escolar del 2010-2011 para los niños que anden buscando Formación en la Fe en todos los grados. Los niños/as se preparan para recibir los Sacramentos de la Primera Reconciliación y Primera Comunión en el 2º grado y el Sacramento de la Confirmación en el 8º grado. Los niños-as que necesiten alguno de los Sacramentos deberán de llevar un proceso de dos años. Nuestra Fe es tan rica que no es posible compartir las enseñanzas de Jesús solamente en dos años. Es por eso que debemos de seguir alimentando nuestra fe. Los niños-as deberían de ser inscritos en el programa desde el K hasta el 8º grado. También ofrecemos un programa de jóvenes para aquellos que ya cursan la secundaria. Por favor pasen por la oficina de Formación de Fe y recoja las formas de Inscripción. El domingo de Pascua se nos recordó que somos llamados a servir como Jesús lo hizo. El mismo nos recordó lavan-do los pies de sus discípulos. ¿De que manera estamos sirviendo a Dios, a su pueblo y a su comunidad? La oficina de Formación de Fe para los Niños esta bus-cando personas voluntarias para formar a los niños en la fe, buscamos catequistas, asistentes de catequistas, tam-bién buscamos personas que nos ayuden en la oficina, personas que monitoreen los pasillos, personas que moni-toreen el estacionamiento y cuidado de niños. When we live Stewardship, we are recognized as disciples of Jesus.

Pantry News

We need your help to carry in supplies and stock shelves in the Pantry every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m. With enough help, it takes about an hour. If you have any ques-tions please call the Parish Office at 630–279–6553 or John Junokas at 834-9863. We have people at St. Joseph’s who rely on the food supplies. Training will be provided! Baptisms: Pre-baptism Class is required before your date will be set. Please register two to three months in advance.

Weddings: Spiritual Preparation begins at least SIX months in advance. Do not make your res-ervations until you have met with pastor.
