Inspiration for survivors…... Myra, a 22-year-old independent girl was a victim

of abuse, kidnapped at the age of 13 from her

hometown. She got rescued by a ngo in Gujrat after

being held hostage for four-year long. On come-

back, she was not accepted by her family and was

sold off into marriage for the few pennies.

She was rescued again and put up in a shelter home

for her rehabilitation where she got in touch with

Kshamata and her life has changed for the good.

During her stay at the home, she learnt tailoring

and other skills which Kshamata imparts in all

homes. After a couple of months, she was handed

over to her mother but Myra never wanted to look

back. She chose Kshamata for her transformation.

Today, Myra is leading very respectful and healthy

life on her own terms. She is living independently and skilling the women in distress in shelter homes. She is an inspira-

tion and the role model for all those girls who have no hopes in life.

Kshamata believes in women power and will keep on empowering more Myras in the future.
