The Big Rescue

There once lived a family of four that loved their camp site called Lilly Stream. It was full of flowers, green

grass, rainbows and big hills. The two brothers Jared and Greg were pretty naughty.

One fine day they felt like going for a stroll up to crock hill. They were brave but petrified of the dark. As they got about half way up, they noticed a rustle in a bush. “Oh well” they said we’re not scared of it. They got to

the top of the hill and saw the view.

Oh, no said Jared… I’m slipping. IM SLIPPING! It was getting dark and Greg had to save him. The rustle

came out of the bush. Greg got scared. Oh, it’s just a silly old frog.

Greg needed a way to get to the bottom of the hill. He spotted vines and began to swing. Now it was pitch

black. It was all up to him to save his brother.

He found two sticks and rubbed them together until he made a fire torch. Now it is easier to see. It was not easy getting down a hill with only a fire torch to see. The hill was difficult to get down with no hiking stick.

Well he had to do something. He thought for a minute ‘I could slide down the mountain. Unfortunately he fell

down a deep grotto. He was there for 5 days.

Finally his parents came to look for them. They heard Greg calling for help. They found him and he told them

all about Jared.

They all had to help him. It was morning. They all climbed up the hill to find Jared. They found Jared and rushed him to hospital. The boys were never naughty

again.
