Thank you for your continued support of the ministries and outreach of St. Lucy Parish. Today we as a parish community give thanks to God for the many blessings we have received and are called to care for as steward these many gifts. One of the gifts which is most apparent and necessary for the parish community is the gift of treasure.

A healthy and vibrant parish shows forth the abundance of God’s love in a variety of ways. The time, talent, and treasure that are the three pillars of stewardship must be cared for and given equal attention. As pastor of the parish I am given the duties of caring for the spiritual, physical and financial

health of the parish. Along with the members of the Finance Council we are called to ensure that the parish remains on sound financial footing as we seek to serve and grow the family of God.

In continuing our mission of evangelization we need the necessary resources as we grow as a parish and church in Campbell and the Diocese of San Jose. Sacred Scripture tells us that we are called to share the first fruits of our labor as an offering of thanksgiving. (Lev 23:9-14, Duet 26:1-10, Rom 16:5, 1 Cor 16:15, Jam 1:18, 2 Cor 9:6-7) It is in sharing these first fruits that we truly offer our time, talent and treasure as a sacrificial offering to God.

As our Lord Jesus gives himself to us each day as a sacrificial offering we in turn are called to share with others the gifts we receive. Once more…thank you for your prayers and support.

Todos están invitados este próximo miércoles 7 de octubre para celebrar la Novena-Misa en honor de Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro. La Novena-Misa se celebra aquí en Santa Lucia cada primer miércoles del mes a las 6:00 PM. En otras miércoles, la Novena a Nuestra Señora del Perpe-tuo Socorro se observa a las 6:30 PM empezando con el rosarito a las 6PM.

Gracias por su continuo apoyo a los ministerios y su divulgación de la Parroquia de Santa Lucia. Como comunidad parroquial le damos gracias a Dios por sus muchas bendiciones que hemos reci-bido y estamos llamados a cuidar estos regalos. Uno de los regalos que es más evidente y necesa-ria para la comunidad parroquial es el don del tesoro.

Una parroquia saludable y vibrante muestra sucesivamente la abundancia del amor de Dios en una variedad de maneras. El tiempo, talento y tesoro que son los tres pilares de la corresponsabilidad deben ser atendidos y se les da la misma atención. Como párroco de la parroquia tengo los deberes de cuidar la salud espiritual, física y finan-ciera de la parroquia. Junto con los miembros del Consejo de Finanzas, estamos llamados a garantizar que la parroquia sigua con la base financiera para servir y crecer la familia de Dios.

Al continuar con nuestra misión de evangelización necesitamos los recursos necesarios para crecer como parroquia e iglesia en Campbell y la Diócesis de San José. La Sagrada Escritura nos dice que estamos llamados a compartir los primeros frutos de nuestro trabajo como una ofrenda de acción de gracias. (Levítico 23: 9-14, Duo 26: 1-10, Romanos 16: 5, 1 Corintios 16:15, Jam 1:18, 2 Corintios 9: 6-7). Al compartir estos primeros frutos es como verdaderamente ofre-cemos nuestro tiempo, talento y tesoro como una ofrenda de sacrificio a Dios.

Como nuestro Señor Jesús se entrega cada día como una ofrenda de sacrificio, así que a su vez estamos llamados a compartir con los demás los dones que recibimos. Una vez más... gracias por sus oraciones y su apoyo.
