La manufactura francesa de alta relojería Cartier ha presentado su

flamante pieza femenina, un reloj-joya denominado Tourbillon &

Crocodile de cuya exquisitez da cuenta la fotografía que ilustra este

artículo. Realizado en oro blanco de 18 quilates bañado en rodio, su caja

de 44,5 mm de diámetro ostenta una montura de 585 diamantes que

suman 8,20 quilates.

Su movimiento es mecánico, de cuerda manual, presentando un Calibre

9458 MC, flying tourbillon. Posee un balance de 21.600 vibraciones por

hora, con una reserva de marcha de 50 horas, y es sumergible hasta 30 m.

Esta edición está limitada a 50 piezas individualmente numeradas.

Cartier presenta una colección de relojes-joya de ensueño, cuyo nombre

alude, precisamente, al mundo mágico de los cuentos fantásticos: Mille et

une heures (vale decir: Mil y una horas), compuesta por increíbles piezas

cuyo espíritu trashuma los confines de la India, las puertas de Jaipur, las

fronteras del Rajastán…

Mille et une heures es un filtro mágico, un hechizo joyero compuesto por

French haute horlogerie manufacturer Cartier has just presented it

latest feminine timepiece, called Tourbillon & Crocodile, the

exquisiteness of which is clear from the photograph illustrating this

article. Crafted in 18-carat rhodium-treated white gold, its case is 44.5

mm in diameter set with 585 diamonds, for a total of 8.20 carats.

This timepiece boasts the Calibre 9458 MC, flying tourbillon, mechanically

wound movement. Its balance wheel functions at 21,600 vibrations per

hour, with a 50-hour power reserve. The watch is submersible to 30 meters

(98 feet).

This is a limited edition of just 50 individually numbered timepieces.

Mille et une heures is a magic looking glass, a jeweler’s spell, cast on six-

teen unique timepieces, the creation of which has taken nearly a thousand
